Re: Handbrake Cable Colours?
These are swiped from Eurocarparts for my car Rev 2? Not sure if they'd be different ?
Anyways, Rear left - 1617mm
Rear right - 1619mm
According to them they're from 91-99 so Rev 2 - 5

Re: Volk TE37s
It could be Inovit wheels also as they do a set called the STVI I believe, Easily noticeable though as they're cheap (dirt cheap) and they're multi drilled. It's got to the point that they've copied Rota who have copied Rays Oh dear lol A friend of mine had them on his Celica though with no issues i...

Re: Tyre help please
205 50 15 on the rear,
Good luck with that lol. Toyota put 30mm on the rear for a reason is my guess so to do anything smaller than that is a bad idea
Can you not grab some part worns of ebay or similar just to tide you over ?

Re: Tyres size query
I don't know then. I had a stupid size on originally on my old set of wheels (235 45 17) so I swapped them over to the Conti's in 245 40 and had no issues wth them whatsoever
Either way I'd go for what's cheapest LOL

I am considering changing my 245/40/17 rears for 245/35/17!
That's strange. I'm lowered on FK's, I had 215 45 17 front 245 40 17 on the rears with no issues?

Re: Tyres size query
225 would be a tad small I think it'd end up having stretch on a 9J rim, I normally use 215 front and 245 rears on 8/9J combo they should sit fine that way and you then keep the OEM 30mm stagger that Toyota put on, you'll notice the characteristics of the car will change too

Re: Interest in Maxxis MA-Z1 in 225-50-15?
I'm trying to stick with the stock 15" wheels so I'd definitely be interested. I'm going to need them pretty soon though as my Yokohamas are down to about 3mm. I've sent this yesterday Good afternoon I'm sending this message as a request as to whether you are thinking of producing the MA-Z1 ty...

Re: Japspeed exhaust question
It depends how rusty the bolts are if it's OEM exhaust already fitted. Grab some Plusgas, soak the bolts previous and it shouldn't take more an an hour or 2 if you leave the bolts soaking for a day or 2 :) If you've got bolts that really won't come off then you're going to need an angle grinder or s...

Interest in Maxxis MA-Z1 in 225-50-15?
Hi all this is a bit of a weird thread regarding tyres. Now as most of us will know the MR2 has a strange rear tyre size and getting tyres for the rears is getting harder Now the purpose of this thread is I've been looking into getting some tyres and trying to get them to match all round and as most...

Re: Japspeed exhaust question
It's a straight bolt on job so nothing too major
If you're fitting the Japspeed then unbolt including the cat. If you can source a Mongoose then I'd go for that as it's not so intrusive and it'll be fairly well priced if you can find a used one

Re: Japspeed exhaust question
You'll need to keep a standard exhaust to swap them over as the Japspeed doesn't have a cat in them and has nowhere for one. You'd be better off spending a bit more and getting the Mongoose instead as it's road legal. Also the Japspeed is bloody loud by all accounts whereas the Mongoose has a deeper...
