Re: N/A accelleration
I'm inclined to say that's just the way the MR2 is, my friend has a MX5 and it's very free revving whereas the Mr2 doesn't come in until the power starts coming in from 3k, anything underneath that 3k rev range on most Toyota's I've had has been pretty much non existent

Re: Nankang NS-II's
I'd say most people would say T1-R's but for my money I'd not get them for the rears as they're so soft they'd wear out too quickly I'd take the Rainsports myself, a friend put them on his MX5 and loves them. I've had them on my old Celica and will buy them again although I still maintain the best t...

Re: Nankang NS-II's
Nankangs certainly can't be described as high end IMO they're the opposite, I'm pretty sure that the VW scene are fans of them because they're easy to stretch onto wider wheels but by all accounts that's all they're good for, If you're looking for decent tyres I'd recommend Uniroyal Rainsports espec...

[Mk2] [Generic] Does a LSD Celica box fit a MR2?
As title really, a friend of mine has a LSD gearbox which he never got round to fitting to his Celica, he now hasn't got one as I now own it he's curious as to if it'll fit a MR2 without too much work?

Re: Mr2 didn't sell...
The sad reality of older cars now is that the majority of the time they're worth more in pieces to help others live on. Yours is a nice example and being turbo there's more of a market but the Mr2's biggest issue is that they're not practical for families so they're not really the most desirable thi...

[Mk2] [Generic] Dual filament bulb holders?
Hi all I'm hoping someone can help me please, I'm in need of a Rear fog light for my MR2 for it's MOT which is due in a few weeks so trying to get it sorted. I've got the rear fog switch sorted and having done a quick search into how to wire one in I realise I need a few diodes and some dual filamen...

I've heard JBL do half decent subs but if not I'm not sure how well it would fit but grab a Vibe CBR10 Active Evo they're pretty good

im about to fit some 17" to my car 205/40/17 fronts , 235/40/17 rears.. im hoping they fit flush and no work will be needed.. the car is standard at the moment If I were you personally I'd be looking into 205 45 17 as opposed to the 205 40's in order to try and keep the rolling radius closer t...

Eibach ones will do fine but you'll have to be careful which way you put them in as one way increases camber the other reduces it

Re: Larger battery size
You're more than welcome
Personally I'd wait until the winter gets here they have better deals on then. I got 25% off and it cost just under 60 quid whereas Halfords wanted 90 odd and the Bosch has a 4 better CCA etc

I put a Bosch S4 in my old Celica, got it from Euro Car Parts, they seem to have a higher output than most others and are well priced too

Re: Interest in Maxxis MA-Z1 in 225-50-15?
They've passed it on to their specialist tyre makers and I'm waiting on a reply from thenm
I hope they do bring them out as they MIGHT be a tad cheaper than the T1-R's and last longer

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Handbrake Question (Rev 2 Import)
Cheers I've seen there but thought I'd chance my arm on ebay as well and found the Euro car parts outlet who are selling the cables for 21 quid per side delivered. The only thing that confused me was that they're slightly shorter yet they're listed from 89-96? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230936671691?...

[Mk2] [NA] Handbrake Question (Rev 2 Import)
Hi all I'm hoping someone can help me please I need to adjust the handbrake as it barely works for MOT. The previous few MOT's I've noticed it's a common thing on the car. Ideally I'll want to just adjust the cables but as I'm not sure if it's possible to do so by the amount I suspect it'll need I'v...
