Re: arrrrgh! stinky fish

It was raining very heavily earlier. I was at a cross junction in Bridgend waiting at the red light and there was a horrible eggy smell around. A car suddenly drives into a HUGE puddle and splashes me. It was like a tidal wave! I took off down the road and noticed my car smelling fishy.. th...

Re: Evo 6 tommi makinen now with a pic or 2 :-)

All evos have quick steering racks, I doubt a non-evo driver could tell from the rack that is was a TME, ditto the turbo. So I think you'll full of it a little bit ;) Evo gsr rack=2.3 turns Evo TME & RS models =2.1 turns  Yes I know. What I'm saying is that you won't have got in it and sa...

Re: mayo in the oil filler cap

Hi, I was putting some oil in the car this morning and noticed gunky mayo in the filler cap. I remember someone once said that this is not necessarily a sign of a head gasket failure, just wondering what else could cause this. The reason why I'm questioning the fact that it might not be a head gask...

Re: Evo 6 tommi makinen now with a pic or 2 :-)

BTW would you mind checking the VIN to see if it starts CP9A-020 or CP9A-010? It's just that I've never seen a TME with that bumper and it's easy to dress a GSR up as a TME. And it's not 'that' easy to dress a gsr as a tommi, i'm new to Evo's and already i now of loads of differences between a GSr ...

The car is standard still, so 300 BHP. One of the reasons I moved to evos was cos they are so devastating out of the box.

 Exactly. Thats the reason i moved to the evo. Though as soon as i saw the Tommi Mak i just new it was special 8)
