The s/c's have an idle speed control valve thingy, i've had to replace mine before now.

23% is actually fairly sensible. most rollers have a coast down function where they attempt to measure the rolling losses as the car winds down after the run, but im yet to see results from one that looks at all convincing i tend to just use 17% as the loss on any 2WD car regardless of age, etc sin...

Took the car to circuit motors today at castle combe to see how she is running. 140 bhp at the flyweel and 107 at the wheels so well chuffed! Great little garage and really knowledgeable chap to. Seems an awefull lot of power lost through the transmission there, my s/c made 145bhp at the wheels and...

well whoever buys it i hope they realize the problems they will be getting into!! and the fact that when you pay two and a half grand for a car for it to break down half an hour down the road is a bit wrong. especially when you travel and pay £200 for the train aand arrive to find that the seller k...

IMO, sports cars shouldn't have auto boxes =; and anyone with two legs should stop being lazy and drive a manual :lol:

privilege will insure you, no matter what you get quoted this will help soften the blow; i pay 1750 for the evo with 7 years no claims,27 yers young, cat 1 alarm etc... :shock: A good place i found is the Insurance Factory-08004402025 they were the only quote i got for the Evo that came in under 2k....

Hi and thanks the part no 19101-16150 was specified and is on the invoice from camskill - but their part does not fit and oddly thier part or its box has no part number on it - so i guess they have just delivered the wrong item by mistake - human error?
