Re: Accident Damage (Repairable or Write-Off?)
As said above, insurance will undoubtedly write this off. What was the impact speed? The main thing will be whether the front panel is bent (which it will be if the catch has moved a significant amount) as well as the lower crossmember. All of the bolt on parts will be easy enough to replace. Whip t...

Re: Shall I fit Abflug arches or not?
You can get semi-flexible filler so cracking needn't be an issue.
That makes the pros outweigh the cons

Ordered some poly engine mounts and 430cc injectors from him. Courier collected them yesterday and the goods turned up this morning.
Easy guy to deal with and would happily purchase from him again.

In the past I have used the switched live on the stereo loom or the live on the cig lighter socket. The clock would probably work too.

Re: pacman's Rev 1 GTT
Thanks for the comments.
I actually have a border front to paint and fit, its just finding the time to do it.
She hasn't had a respray although the offside 1/4 has been painted at some point. The layman would be hard pushed to tell but paint is what I do so...

Re: Does anyone know what these mean in English?
No, the Storm box will have nothing to do with your boost controller. You know what... on closer inspection I would say that thing is a boost module; you can see the barbed pipe to the right of the loom plug (in the shadow of the main 'black' loom. Is it wired into your piggyback ECU? There is obvio...

Re: Does anyone know what these mean in English?
I would guess that the sticker in the first pic relates soley to the engine: tolerances (intake and exhaust?), base timing/idle speed and service intervals. The yellow sticker in your second pic relates to air con. The gas is r134a, standard refrigerant gas found in the majority of systems out there...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] knocking front end, it's driving me mad. HELP PLEASE.
I've had this exact problem recently. Replaced the drop links but that didn't cure it. After a little more research it turns out that the 19mm nut which mounts the strut to the topmount (under the black cover) had come loose by maybe 2/3s of a turn (fairly common, apparently). Tightened that up and ...

Re: best oem colour for mk2 ? opinions
Highly polished solid black is the one I'd go for (and did!) on curvy cars like the mr2.
