Re: Just had coilovers fitted, pretty sure they're wrong.
Ok, so drivers side looks fine, my wheels have always protruded a little bit on the fronts and rear, you can see here : http://i.imgur.com/k1inp5I.jpg but on the passenger side, you can see that the front wheel is protruding way more, and the rear wheel is not protruding, im guessing the rear has ne...

Problems with door locking ( immobiliser )
I had the issue in which I put the key in the door, unlock it and the alarm goes off, the car then wont start.. I locked the car back up, and unlocked it from the passenger side and it stopped the alarm from going off. I was told it was the micro locking switch, so having bought a 2nd hand one, and ...

Coilover Choice
I'm looking to buy some coilovers for the car..
I've narrowed it down, can anybody give me any information on how these perform if you have experience with them ?
I've heard the Teins give a very hard ride? - Not heard much about the APEXi coilovers though..

Slight " whining " noise coming from the engine
over the past few months i've noticed a slight whining noise coming from the engine, it used to be intermittent but now it seems to stay there.. I've asked a local mechanic today and only had a 2 minute look but he said he thinks it may be the water pump or the alternator bearings.. Has anybody had ...

Problem with immobilizer / alarm - car wont start!
So I've had my car for a year now, not once have I ever heard the alarm go off on it, I just have a standard key with no alarm buttons on it.. apparently it has standard mr2 alarm ( mk2 rev 3 ) 1994 , although as stated I have never had the alarm go off.. I've just gone to open the doors on the car ...
