Re: 99 BEAMS REV 5

I've had a beams which I sold pretty cheap (also purchased it cheap) as it had a lot of tlc required. I would say they definitely go and sound better than an na but not a turbo.. I'd have a turbo every minute of every day of the week. As a track car it would probably be quite good and obviously the ...

Great work Jon :thumleft:
Glad you've come back!

I can see you making 600+ with that set up, is it just 4 x1000cc injectors you're running or a twin set up?

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times

Launched a few times around 4K rpm (not got launch control set up yet) :-s It's definitely the tyres foremost, at 4K I'm not even on boost yet so I don't think it should be spinning up with the right tyres/treads, saying that.. crail isn't a world beater surface either. I didn't think 1.5 would be p...

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times

haha nice 60ft times  You definitely need some better rear tyres. EASY into the 11s mate with some good tyres and a decent launch!! 8) Unsure if that's sarcasm :-k  Some of the 60ft times I've seen have been under 2.0, not sure what I should be aiming for with a set up this lagg...

Re: [FINALIZED] Greddy OLED Profec Electronic Boost Controller

There's a lot of fakes going around of these ATM so if this is genuine I'd say not too bad price wise.
The one on RHDjapan is £217 delivered + taxes so that must be close to £280/290.

Phil that's just a super resin polish, however I'm not taking all the credit as David kept it immaculate and garaged while it was his. :eye:

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times

So onto the road, tried boosting a few times, wastegate and high, all worked well. Tried a wastegate pressure first run and was sweet so onto high boost I went, unfortunately I had just enough tread in the tyres to make them road legal but not enough to grip the surface so every run was a wheelspin ...

So finally got down the drag strip with it running well  Wasn't going to have it on the road this year but a 20hour shift on Saturday getting it ready and it now looks like this: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg494/gullzter/Red%20Forged%20Turbo/9B388100-0E9F-4950-8DEE-907CEF0220F8.jpg htt...

HSD monopro coilovers

HSD monopro adjustable height/damper coilovers, don't have much info on these, however they are in perfect working order. The springs have corrosion as shown in pictures, need a clean up as they have what looks to be some underseal. I seem to have misplaced the c spanner, if I find it I will include...

Greddy TD06 turbo kit

Greddy TD06 turbo with Greddy exhaust manifold and downpipe. Manifold is externally gated so you can run a screamer pipe off it, and is suited to the Mr2 turbo rev1/2, however I do also have a rev3/4/5 Greddy manifold if preferred. Turbo is in good condition with minimal play as expected, seals are ...

870cc injectors + custom fuel rail

870cc Delphi injectors and top feed fuel rail suited to rev1/2 turbo head. Rail is believed to be ATS but can't confirm this. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg494/gullzter/sale%20stuff/BFB27EF8-994B-42BC-85B1-44442064038F.jpg £300 collected from Glasgow or can post at buyers expense :thumleft:

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times

The clear lid is something that has me interested actually but I don't think it would go well at all with my parts, that being said it would look wonderful with my engine bay I think  Haha well I need the looks to back up the power :eye: be interesting to see how you get on! Where are the carbo...

Kind words buddy, unfortunately it won't be fully done this year as I've been caught behind with a few things, some my own fault, some not, but the car won't be run this year

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times

I never was til I bought the white car and loved it but I guess the colour contrast makes the angles look a bit weirder with a red car.
But the F40 is defo a keeper 8)

Tried on a couple of the engine lids and I think I prefer the F40 style lid over the PP lid http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg494/gullzter/Red%20Forged%20Turbo/FA2DC4AE-1416-4621-9C51-606A9C356A24.jpg http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg494/gullzter/Red%20Forged%20Turbo/22A12459-CDA3-4793-BDB2...

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times

Yeah that makes sense, but my concern is it makes the carbon stand out a lot more (not sure if that would be good or bad). Anyway for the time being it doesn't look like the car will be on the road for this summer, it would have been back off end of August and I've already lost a complete month as I...
