Black Mk2, Rev 1/2, Kidlington Sainsburys
Was stuck two cars behind you (in the civic, aaaaalways in the civic when I see other 2's on the road >.< ) leaving the store car park this afternoon, only caught the VTF of your numberplate, think it was a J reg, nurburgring sticker in the rear window. You headed off towards Peartree junction while...

Thanks to everyone who had a hand in organising things and being such a welcoming bunch, that was my 3rd Japfest, but my first on a club stand, makes the day just that bit different to normal attendance. I'll be back for sure, shifts depending!

You must have been a couple of miles behind me heading north then, as I saw the same one just south of Abingdon, looked like a Rev 5 by the spoiler (if unmodified). Think I've seen it drive through Milton Park a few times.

Coincidentally, I actually saw one of these on the road last weekend, it's the first time I've seen one outside of a James Bond Cars exhibit!

Re: colour change
I would seriously recommend you leave it black. My MK2 is red, it looks lovely but attracts complete w*nkers who consistently try and race me / cut me up etc. I'm sure a lot of this is because the colour makes it stick out like a sore thumb and ripe for challenging. Mind you if you like that sort o...

Cooling service hose sizes
Does anyone happen to know offhand what the sizes are for the service hoses (or what size hose you've used if you've had to use a substitute hose) usually found in the toolkit in the frunk, used for bleeding the radiator and heater matrix when changing/refilling the coolant? I can find no end of art...

Re: Radiator fan temperature sensor
Cheers for the suggestions guys, will try the wanted section for now, am happy to wait a while as the fan will run constantly in the meantime anyway which isn't a problem. MR2Ben only have the oval plugged one in stock, TCB weren't showing any but will give them a ring.

Re: colour change
May I suggest posting some visual references of what these shades of colours actually are? "Candy Apple Red" probably varies depending on who you ask, and lord only know what "Napier" and "Tarocco" are without some kind of context

Radiator fan temperature sensor
Halp! My radiator fan temp sensor appears to have gone to the great component store in the sky, and a quick phone call to Mr T. this morning had me hit with the 1-2 of "oh, that's £82.38" followed by "oh...and it's discontinued so we can't actually get one" #-o Any ideas where is...

Silver/grey Mk3, Bloxham Road, Banbury
Got the surprise of my life yesterday when, on the way down into town to get the car MOT'd (he failed on tyres, boooo, do you have any idea how hard it is to get 205/60/R14 nowadays!!!), I got flashed and waved at by a MK3 coming up the Bloxham road the other way. Managed to remember which stalk it ...

Re: Japfest club stand 2014
Hey, Am getting my wheels refurbed for japfest and due to the layout of my drive, I need to be able to park car out of the way once the near side wheels are off. I can do this using my spare wheel and a.n.other spare...and then the offside wheels can come off and I'll use axle stands to support the...
