A change of plans means I have decided to put my MR2 Turbo up for sale and I would much rather sell it as a complete car than break the parts. I live in Newbury, West Berkshire I am looking for £3,250, this is a third car / weekend car so I am in no rush to sell. This is a very good unmolested examp...
Nails is completly correct the 3rd party would be covered and the insurance company would look to reclaim costs from you and pursue charges of insurance fraud.
Eagle F1's are fine f you never take your car on track, but they overheat very quickly on trackdays.
I run Kumho V70's (Hard) on my trackcar, decent even in the wet and have lasted all year, will put on another set for next years trackdays.
I was wondering if we try and organise a get together for a few MR2's next year. Pick a trackday, maybe Bedford or somewhere else fairly central so that it is easy enough for people to get to and try and get as many MR2's on the day as we can? Depending on people's budget's we could even try and go ...

I am fine at Bedford.. Got told off at Croft. They were walking round with noise meters.. Stopping everything for a while etc..
Interesting, I did not realise that, good to know, thanks
I would recommend a new radiator and engine lid fans if your serious about trackdays, also look at your IC if you have a turbo, I have done all three on my turbo to get control of coolant temps at trackdays.
I have an unknown exhaust on my car which makes 100db static, but I a fine at Bedford which is one of the tougher noise regulated tracks in the UK.
Bedford is 101db static and 87db driveby.
So, if your aiming for 98db should be fine
