Re: Track day wheels/tyres advice
Stick with the OZ wheels :thumleft: Up to you if you want to run a rear spacer but 16" is a good compromise for handling and tyre availability - 15" wheels will require balloon tyres to maintain standard rolling radius and if you're tracking the car then a slightly lower profile tyre would...

Re: [FINALIZED] Ohlins struts and Apex springs
When I owned these I did buy a spare front Ohlins shock, can't remember which but I sold it to Cardhore. Maybe worth the new owner chasing him if that helps

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Uniroyal Rainsport 2 -> ???
I run them on the MX5 - they put the Proxes to shame on wet roads, very predicatable.
Dry performance is ok. Not a bad compromise given their wet performance really

They will hold their value though, so even if you run them for 5 years and decide to sell (as long as you look after them) then you'll probably get even more than you paid for!

Eibach springs
Pretty damn hard to come by these days! I managed to snag a new set from a guy over on a Supra forum a few years ago, fitted them, decided I wanted to go even lower and they've been sat in my workshop for the last year. Fronts hardly used, rears have covered about 1500 miles from new (including a tr...

Re: [FINALIZED] Genuine Work Meister S1's in perfect MR2 fitment
If I didn't already have three sets of Works I probably would have by now  Kenny I did overlook track/drift cars etc. to be honest, I would agree that if they're just going to be 'used' then it doesn't matter what wheels you're running \:D/ When I go drifting in the MX5 I just take 4 sets of wh...

Re: [FINALIZED] Genuine Work Meister S1's in perfect MR2 fitment
Aussie I actually laughed at the that  Continuing the debate.. (sorry OP!) The attraction of 'genuine' wheels for me doesn't particularly stem from contruction, weight, R&D etc. It's more of a knowledge and understanding thing. If you've taken the time to really learn about certain rarer wh...

Re: Boost Controller going crazy
Yep that's what mine looks like, will have a mess around when it stops raining!
Thanks for your settings guys, should help. I'm just dreading sifting through the engine bay looking for leaks Will it just be vac lines causing the issue or could loose intercooler pipework be responsible too?

Re: Boost Controller going crazy
So I've been going about it the wrong way all this time? Doesn't surprise me  By pressing the right hand button I can cycle through three displays - current mani pressure, max recorded boost (of journey?), and gain adjustment. The left hand button seems to allow you to cycle through different p...

Boost Controller going crazy
Rev 3 turbo, standard turbo as far as I know with a Berk DP. Running Blitz Dual SBC. Also been running BOV-less for 6 months if that could affect the following: Recently started hitting boost cut/fuel cut/some sort of wall at 1.15 bar on the Blitz readout. Obviously this is irritating as it keeps he...

Re: Rev 3 Turbo clutch options - UPDATE, help?
Not happy with the Exedy Stage 1, it's always felt slower since swapping from the old twin plate and now it seems to be slipping!
What's the next logical road-friendly step with regard to a clutch kit? I don't mind it being a little heavier, but I'm done with crap slipping clutches
Cheers

Re: Aluminium front splitter - prototype made w/pics
I made a splitter for Jon in the end (MR2TurboBoy) - he'll probably have a few pics, there are definitely some in the Le Mans trip thread. ............. snip http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z53/mulac19/DSC_0106_zpsgx2jtt3d.jpg nice work, great stance as well.
