Yea not been on for long ! Picked up a rev 3 turbo at a price i couldnt refuse! Not on the road yet, too busy modding for track days!!

Fitted my blueflame exhaust and center section today but it fits crap ... which is really bugging me :evil: One side hits the tow hook and sits out to far... yet the other side fits pefectly. Ive had it on and off various times moved mounts used washers etc but nothing seems to make a diffrence !! A...

Does any one run a panel filter on there turbo and still run 300bhp?

Thinking the standard airbox and panel will prevent heat soak?

Or can it simply not flow enough?

you say that it will crack, but so do others which are from the likes of hks , tomei etc . ive seen £800 tomei manifold crack on my mates s14!! i also had a cheapo ebay exhaust on my s14 which i brought second hand and used for over 3 years and that never gave any problem atall. also you could buy 2...

thanks for your help chaps, manage to get a brand new recaro speed for silly money, and custom made a frame with universal rails and some L shaped steel piece from B&Q , fits perfect nice and low and its much more suportive than the original seat.

Yea thats what im thinking, but i see some fitted with bride rails but didnt know if they was direct fit or still need modding?

Im after possibly fitting dc2 recaros but unsure whats needed is there a frame i can buy that bolts straight to the recaro seat and straight to the car , like a bride one or other?

Or would i nedd to get somethink fabricated?

I would have the dc2 frame and the mr2 one to chop about with.

You make good point there mate , if you could choose what one would you go for? And if itdosent come with a bung then where could i get one from?

Yea thats another reason why i liked the apexi , i used a bung on my s14 once before and it really affected the power which puts me off.

If the hks is already in good nick then surely some high temp paint should pretect it for some time . What you reckon?

Really gutted the apexi is to loud as i really like the look of the single exit, may consider a hks hi power , really cant decide!!
