Enkei RP01 16" 7J & 8J Alloy Wheels

Enkei RP01 alloy wheels for sale. They are 16" staggered fitment. 7J Front and 8J rear - perfect MR2 fitment. I purchased these off 'sheppy' on here, intended to fit these but have gone for 17" wheels to fit with my geometry kit. Paintwork isn't the best and all the tyres will need replaci...

You want 16" wheels. It's the best compromise between handling and tyre choice :thumleft:

If you want comfort, you definitely don't want HSD's!

Probably your best bet! It'd fail MOT if it wasn't secured. I should know, mine did!

Re: Fitting braided brake lines, quick question..

The HSD's don't have the bracket for the brake flexi. The only thing you can really do is cable tie it into position like you have done, that's what I did for mine.

It says there are out of stock, might be worth dropping them a message.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Your opinion on new wheels

For the best all round you will want 16" staggered. Tyres are very limited on the 15" wheels and the ride becomes stiffer on 17" wheels, with lower profile tyres. Personally i wouldn't buy any of them if you like driving your car. I'd go for a set of second hand wheels which are forge...

Do both of them operate with the engine radiator? Reason i'm asking is i've removed my air-con so not sure i've now got a useless fan on my aluminium radiator.

Oh wow. That's very brave. Would you trust 80mm spacers?! I don't think I could, I'm a bit sceptical about 10mm ones!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Ab Flug kit, Finished pic on page 18.

apologies but I've not had a chance to get any updates on this, the next update you will get will be the car fully painted with bodykit attached, then my next step is to get the spacers, as I've already said, a very frustrating process as I need the kit to be fitted so I can measure it then order t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] About RiGiD reinforced rubber engine mounts

If you find the poly ones are too stiff, you might want to give these a try.

I found them too soft, so moved to poly mounts.

Brilliant. You can't really argue for that price. You might want to keep your current cat and backbox for MOT though, as that looks like it bypasses the cat completely.

Re: Wheel bolts

If your on standard 15" wheels, you'll need the flat headed nuts. 99% of all aftermarket wheel nuts are tapered, so won't be the correct fitment. If you have the standard wheels nuts, they wont have rusted. Just give them a good scrub!

I had a watch of this too. Even though I don't have a turbo. I can't say I've ever heard or seen of anyone doing this to make it run cooler.
Must be an Australian thing! :-k
