Re: Buying a Rev3 Turbo - Average Price?

Both of the cars in this thread look lovely, but especially the white one, forged, d2 coilovers etc, very nicely done and worth £6k all day.

Re: Discovered rusty sills :(

I'd love to rip mine off and go standard with a rev 5 wing, but the sills look like xxxx, thanks to aforementioned hand jockey!

Then again maybe running around with embarassing sills on show will force me to get the work done sooner, and maybe stop it getting worse! :-k

Re: Mr2 turbo 02 sensor - Part Number

Looks correct to me. I ordered one this week and fit it to my rev 3 turbo. Should be dxo-0217. I first ordered dxo-0215 which was wrong. I ordered from this store and were great to deal with. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Denso-Lambda-Sensor-DOX-0217-DOX0217-Replaces-89465-39435-/361535278653?epid=88248...

Hi mate, thanks for the reply RE the bumper, was looking for a decent one to go straight on, but now considering a Bomex or other. Thanks anyway! :thumleft:

Re: High idle speed plus rising and falling .

Change your ECU coolant temp sensor as well, they're only £15 and 5 minutes to replace but made a world of difference on my previous rev 2 turbo which used to cut out when I dipped the clutch.

Re: High idle speed plus rising and falling .

Once in a blue moon after a jet wash my rev 3 turbo will do the revs rising and falling bit. It normally fixes itself after the engine is fully warmed up so i'm assuming moisture is getting in somewhere and then drying out.

Make of that what you will!

Believe it or not this will be my first show with any mr2 group. I hope nobody will mind if I wander off for most of the day taking photos?

Welcome to join and see the master at work

Fingers crossed for good weather, it's been a bit patchy so far.

Re: Limited Slip Diffs

I'd like to know if my Rev 3 turbo has or had an LSD. It's much harder to get controllably sideways than my old Rev 2 turbo despite having more power, but that doesn't really tell me much as I don't know if the Rev 2 had an LSD. I'm curious about the post on the previous page, about a Viscous LSD be...

Re: Windscreens

Another negative review fro me i'm afraid. I very recently had a huge crack appear in my import bronze screen, with weather strip. Went through my insurance Zenith. Autoglass took 6 weeks to get an appointment in my area, but I badgered them every day for a week as they kept on saying nothing availa...
