The warning lights that come on are as shiny put it "the three lights of doom"... That sounds ominous!?

so when my car has been sitting in the rain for a few hours or I drive through a large puddle, some of dash warning lights come on for a few seconds. obviously this is related to the water ingress but what could actually be causing the lights to come on?

Seems to be fixed now! My indicators work fine as do my brake lights, when in use separately. Press the brake and flick the left indicate however and the left rear tail light goes off and the indicator comes on solid. Sorted it.
I cut the earthing ring off the rev1 boss and used the original plug/wire to the horn button and then earthed the born button to the spline.
