Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Shocks leaking
so i have narrowed it down to that "glad nut", i guess thats not going to be there if my struts aren't rebuildable... so i took a few more pictures and i am pretty sure my setup has a glad nut, so can i assume mine are rebuildable and therefore i can just by the inserts to get me back up a...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Shocks leaking
So my car failed its MOT due to excessive fluid leak from front shocks. I've started looking into replacement solutions and would like a little bit of advice. There is a guy selling some replacement ones on here (http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=169514) and would like to know if these wi...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] wet lights
The warning lights that come on are as shiny put it "the three lights of doom"... That sounds ominous!?

[Mk2] [Turbo] wet lights
so when my car has been sitting in the rain for a few hours or I drive through a large puddle, some of dash warning lights come on for a few seconds. obviously this is related to the water ingress but what could actually be causing the lights to come on?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Brake light turns indicator on
Seems to be fixed now! I removed the rear cluster as outlined in this guide ( http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your-2-knowledge-base/mr2-mk2.html?catid=10&kbartid=218 ) and gave the connectors a good clean. Reassembled and the problem appears to have gone away. I feel like this is one of those little...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Brake light turns indicator on
So solution is pull the rear light cluster out, inspect and clean connectors? Or is it likely that the dodgey earth be elsewhere in the vehicle?

[Mk2] [Generic] Brake light turns indicator on
My indicators work fine as do my brake lights, when in use separately. Press the brake and flick the left indicate however and the left rear tail light goes off and the indicator comes on solid. Anyone had anything like this before? What's my first port of call to fault find? I'm perplexed. If I had...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] sticky front caliper
this is the best picture i could get without taking the wheels off. i couldn't see any markings saying 16v or 22v so i assume they are on the side inside the wheel rim.

Nice looking motor mate, good work.
Also I recognise that graffiti in the pictures, that is at the end of my old street! What a coincidence, I never normally read these build/projects threads as well but stumbled across this one

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Steering wheel
Sorted it.
I cut the earthing ring off the rev1 boss and used the original plug/wire to the horn button and then earthed the born button to the spline.
Winner. Thanks for the help everyone
