Re: wheels and tyres
No, you want MORE pressure in the tyres in winter... gives them a slight 'ballooning' and therefore gives you a smaller contact patch. Smaller contact patch with the same weight on it gives you greater pressure/inch^2, meaning it will cut through the snow better. Exactly the same reason why wider ty...

Re: [All] [Generic] my install , what you think guys???
Looks good, not to my taste, but looks to be a good job.
You'd have been better off spending a bit more money on some top notch audio equipment though as when upgrade time comes, you'll have to redo all of your enclosures.

[Mk2] [Generic] radio doesn't work
The radio in my car doesn't work.... CD's work fine, so it's most likely something to do with the aerial I'm thinking. I'm very familiar with car audio systems so I can do the work, but to save me time, are there any common problems with MR2's that are likely to cause this? I know on Clios the base ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] New wheels, now need to decide on tyres?
thanks for all the replies chaps! They'll be for road use, but not in seriously adverse conditions as I have a delightful little Fiesta for the menial stuff. I only mentioned the Federal's as they seem to get great reviews, 90% of the grip of 888's in the dry and ridiculous amounts of grip in the ra...

[Mk2] [Generic] New wheels, now need to decide on tyres?
I've just taken delivery on these bad boys.... So I need to make a decision on some tyres. I have Federal 595 RS-R's on my 172 cup and they are incredible, but of course, every car differs, does anyone have any experience with them on mr2's? http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee435/jkracing1989/944...

Yeah I've seen a lot of good things about him on here, it's 1 1/2 drive from me though... fairly long way to go unless I'm having something pretty major done.

Sussex/Surrey Toyota/MR2 specialist?
I've spent a load of time on google trying to sift through the rubbish and find a decent specialist company, but haven't had much luck as yet. Can anybody on here recommend a company in Sussex (Or Surrey) I'm going to want quite a bit of work doing in the coming months and I always prefer to give my...

New guy starting a long term project.
Hi chaps and chapesses, I've been on here a few weeks now and you've already been an enormously helpful group! Thought it was about time I formally said hello and introduced myself a bit as I'd hope to get to know a few of you and get to some meeting etc as the car progresses. So, first off, my name...

[Mk2] [Generic] Which revs / models can I use hubs from?
I'm in desperate need of a rear hub assembly for my rev2 n/a. Can someone please help me with whether I can use the hub from another rev or a turbo or. Whatever? Are they the same across the board?
Thanks!
Thanks!

thanks for the help chaps....
I can't seem to find one ANYWHERE. I've been searching for about an hour now so I'm retiring.
Can anyone suggest a next best alternative? Or is there a newer comparison of them anywhere?
