Re: JDM Import Rev 2 Turbo - Megasquirt install. Anti lag. 2 step.

I guess its just the turbo setup. whats ideal max power from the c26? cars 225 stock isn't it? I've read they hold up to 250hp at 15psi safely. Also the power curve / boost drops off after 5,500rpm down to 12psi where as the CT20b holds till redline. Options include rebuild and upgrade to CT27 or s...

Re: JDM Import Rev 2 Turbo - Megasquirt install. Anti lag. 2 step.

Rev2 approx 225bhp stock. are the max HP figures affected a lot by the rev? aka... is it going to hurt to get to 300hp on a rev2 engine/setup? Basically it is difficult to achieve 300bhp on a standard Rev2, there were major changes to the Rev3 including a new turbo which manages 300. There are othe...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] SW20 heated windscreen

Update - The 35 amp fuse held up for a few months but just popped. It also melted the fuse and the fuse holder so looks like my setup needs rewiring into a parallel circuit with 2 fuses splitting the amps in half down the wiring making it safe and less flammable. :bang: How is the screen performing...

Re: Nathan's Mk2 Turbo Rev 2 - Hard Top - 1993

Latest updates. Installed some new LEDS for the dash as the boost gauge was obscenely bright in comparison. 20 for £1.89 off ebay I can't complain, interestingly despite them being white LEDS, the stock gauges must have a blue tint since it shines through light blue. Evidence of this is the fact I c...

Re: stock internals boost ability

I switched to a CT20b and run ~14PSI. I've been warned many times that on stock Rev 2 fueling / ECU it's not worth going above due to the headgasket and detonation. As I plan on upgrading all of this over the coming years I'll be waiting before turning up the boost.

I ordered mine from Toyota when replacing my windshield. I don't remember it being over £100. I'd say just bite the bullet because you're only prolonging the issue. :thumleft:

Re: Nathan's Mk2 Turbo Rev 2 - Hard Top - 1993

Latest update. Car's been serviced including brake fluid, need to put some new pads on and clean the panel filter. Anyway after a day taking off the front wing/fender and the scuttle panel I can now confirm the water is coming in through the scuttle panel drainage and then into the cabin footwell. T...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] SW20 heated windscreen

Dual circuit screens so a live and an earth wire either side. The screen will draw around 14-16 amps per side so fuses to suit are needed ( we recommend 25AMP), this then needs to be wired using good cable through a relay to a switch on the dash. Some people wire drivers and passenger side separate...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Left door Speakers not working.

If the left channel works on the right speaker then it has to be the passenger side wiring or the speaker itself. Common wire breaks are in the door hinge, I'd look at running a fresh wire from the inner loom in the passenger footwell first.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] SW20 heated windscreen

So I've lost the installation instructions. I currently keep popping 30amp fuses, wondering what the manufacture recommends? Obv's I'll install a 35amp next but want to double check.

Re: Nathan's Mk2 Turbo Rev 2 - Hard Top - 1993

I can spam my own thread. It rained heavily and a lovely river formed behind the passenger seat. It's looking like the water is dripping down the pillar from the the rear quarter window. Time to hose test it and apply some silicon sealant. and I thought having a hardtop would mean no leaks. E...

Re: Nathan's Mk2 Turbo Rev 2 - Hard Top - 1993

After a few days of dehumidifying with no luck I ripped out the seats and carpets and found there's a missing rubber grommet that leads into the sill on the passenger side. This seems to be culprit for the passenger side leak at least, however there's also a slight drivers side leak too.
