Time to say goodbye for now.

I am saying goodbye and thanks to you all for the help and support this forum has given me over the last 2 years with my tubby. It goes tomorrow morning to it's new owner. Will be missed but it's time to move on. Even driving it today I am still amazed at how fast it is! Spec as it stands. 1995 Rev3...

Re: [All] [Generic] Tyre Opinions for Hankook Ventus RS212

5000 miles on and still love them. I would say that they wear a little faster than a normal "good" road tyre. I have 2000 miles left on them. Grip is superb, cold or hot and they grip very well. Breakaway is smooth and very comtrolable. Stability is the best I have felt in all the tyres I ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Ignition tuning advice :)

Jesus, what a waste of time going down the Honda ECU route. Can't see it working. Just go and buy a PFC or link and be done with it. Must say you first post is odd! You mention all the ecu ideas which just seems wrong to me, far too complicated for little gain, then you say your scared of tuning a t...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Looking for a low dust pad

Hi all I have recently put my newly refurbished split rims on my car after months of sanding and polishing to get the dished lips looking nice. Now, my very good carbotechs like to cover these in sticky dust that is going to ruin them in no time. I have put many coats of sealer, wax, autosol etc on ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Hankook RS2 Tyres fitted

Now that I have done a few thousands miles in them I can say that they really really are a good tyre. Comfort remains high, seems to give a nice ride. Tyre noise is very good, better than the Yokos, toyo's that I have previously had. Stability at any speed is spot on. Even fast lane changes on the A...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Hankook RS2 Tyres fitted

I am on TRD spring and trurts, no coilovers. 8" front and 9" wheels. Not sure on offsets, they sit flush both front and back with the arches. Haha, the arches are not rolled and there is little room for movement! Good job it's quite firm. Bret, you can see it next time you are at Lukes and...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Hankook RS2 Tyres fitted

I have at last got my refurbished wheels and RS2 tyres fitted. 205/45/16 Fronts 245/45/16 Rears Have only done just over 200 miles so not gone through enough heat cycles to give them abuse yet. Initial thoughts seem as though they will have huge amounts of grip. Looking forward to trying them. Am of...

14 years old and the paint still shines well

I thought I would put some pictures up of my results after a quick clean today. Process: Wash using Meg Gold Class Farecla G10 cutting compound on Sonus green pad using my Porter Cable polisher. Meg NTX polish using blue pad on polisher. Came up quite well considdering it was only a quick play and n...

If it's done properly it will be fine.
Would that turbo be too laggy for track use?
