You can't lacquer polished metal. It dulls it like you have found and it soon peels off as there is nothing for it to adhere to. You just have to keep cleaning them.

I managed to bring mine up as new by running them on my polishing mop. I would send them back and ask for your money back.

I am just putting my rear wheels together and being a muppet I am unable to remember what centre goes with the deeper rear lip. Is it the centre with the wider part that site on the hub to push it further toward the arch or the one with less. If that makes any sense at all.

I bet there is more sidewall stiffness in the Colways than the S**T Toyos.

How much did you end up paying to have the centres, caps powder coated?

I am taking longer to do mine as I am having to wet and dry through all the grades before polishing + I am not having much time due to loads of work.

Jeff, have you not had to wet and dry any of that? Is that just polished up with the Belgum? Whats it like?

The power you are going for standard is fine. Save the money.

No problem. Take the wheels appart. Runs some 120 grit over the wheel to score the paint, add nitromorse paint stripper to remove the old paint. Keep doing this till you are back to bare metal. Then you can etch away before painting. Etch primer is a primer that has acid in it so it gets really good...

Gents, the halfrauds paint is not that good, it does not have that good adhesion and it brittle.
