Superb Dave, glad it was worth all the stress for you. Safe on standard internals if mapped ok is 350 is it not?
It bet it does feel nice and fast though.
How does it compare to the ct20?

Re: air field track day £38
I did this a year ago and it was great fun and good value. It a simple day but does give you some idea how the mr2 handles if you don't know. Great few mr2 virgins.
High speed bend is fun. Managed an 80mph. Did a 1.05.2 for the short course.
Worth sorting one out for the summer.

Re: Tyres
I had the Toyo's on the rear of mine in std size and was amazed at how bad they were. Whatever pressures I ran they felt awful. I am on a set of champiro's as a temp tyre until I put on my Hankkok RS2's and these are far better than the toyo's other than in the wet. I am really looking forward to pu...

Re: What a Complete Idiot I feel...
That was lucky! A few years ago I remember reading a thread where this guy rebuilt a 600bhp + chevy engine. He spent a small fortune on doing it over six months. All was well until he did the first start up on the bench to test before it went off to the dyno........ he gave it a rev and it sucked a ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] do I need to buy a boost controller before I have a turbo back system fitted
Fuel cut will save you on a rev1 before anything bad happens with the mods you describe. You may want to consider an uprated intercooler in the future if you are going to turn the boost up. Best bet though is start saving for a rev3+ rather than spending loads on a rev1. If you search you will see l...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] jerky jerky......
Sorry, I can't help it. You took your girlfriend out, drove home and on the lanes she started jerky jerky. I would not complain about that.
On a serious note it could be a dead fuel pump.

Re: Any sprayers in the house?
Have you done spraying before? You will never get near the level of factory painting, there conditions are far better than 90% of NORMAL spray shops. What colour is your car? If it was detailed properly using the right products it would stay looking fresh for months. It's all about the prep as I am ...

Not very laggy really. The boys over the pond are running 400 + bhp.
They are old school but do work well.

Calling Munnsy...
Hey Dave
How's the TD06 install going? Any pics for us all or an update? I saw it up at Lukes the other week, looking good. Will be really interested to see what it's like once complete and mapped.

Mine does exactly the same. Boot it on the motorway and it pulls to the right, lift off and it goes off to the left.
It can't be anything to do with anti roll bars. Must be ball joints, bushes related.
I got a set of poly bushes on the way so hope this solves it. Will post back up.

Take a trip to Luke at Pacific Works.
£80 is what he charges.
Top work and a great guy.
You won't hear a bad word about him.

I am with Trickster on this. It looks that he is braking as he lets the rear run on the grass and then is too slow to catch it.
Amazing how fast it can go wrong!
