Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Maximium boost rev3 turbo?

Pretty sure the Toyota ecu puts the injector duty cycle to 100% over 1 bar boost, mine was always really rich until it was mapped

Fair enuf, I think the ct20b just becomes a hot air blower much higher than 1.2bar.
Have it set at 1.2 with a fast spool and the right level of tune and it will be an animal

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Maximium boost rev3 turbo?

I'm in the same situation as the op. Rev3 Forged 8.0-1 Hybrid CT20b St205cc I've got some 800cc injectors but it will obviously require standalone and since im using an oem excedy clutch im thinking 340bhp would be my safe limit anyway? Now my car has a paul port fcd. I'm going to fit a 255lph fuel...

Re: Chargecooler - To Expansion tank or not

I'm just building my chargecooler setup.
To have a light come on when the level gets too low you will need a normally open relay, this will then allow 12v to the led when the level switch goes open circuit with a low level.
If you need a diagram send me a pm

Re: OEM Style Boost Gagues

So how are these r spec gauges connected? Do they just use the existing wiring from the ecu map sensor?

Did both of these jobs with the engine in. Not a hard job, just takes some time and a second pair of hands to get the gearbox back on.

Re: ST205 ECU for chargecooler pump control

It didn't distort or crack with heating it up then?
Seems the easiest and best way to do it.
Got to order my pump and rad tomorrow and then start painting the CC and think about brackets

Re: ST205 ECU for chargecooler pump control

What did you guys do with the chargecooler pipe that fouls on the coolant neck? I've heard some people cut them and weld them back, could you not just heat up and bend it out of the way?

Re: ST205 ECU for chargecooler pump control

Yeah I've read it a few times, I'm going for an AVT radiator and pump. I'm losing the air con rad so a big rad will fit. Cars currently on an apexi power fc and made 319hp recently.
Only issue was that the IC heat soaks after a few big pulls.
So here I am going charge cooled

Re: ST205 ECU for chargecooler pump control

Now my car turns on the CEL and reverts to safe mode whenever the coolant level is even a fraction low, it's got me to really sort out my system's headertank and bleeding situation, whcih can only be a good thing :thumleft: I reccomend using the ST205 coolant overflow tank. I haven't needed a coola...
