Thanks Torero i will have a look at that. I took it for a mot and it was over 30% c/o when it should be 3.5% c/o and you can just smell it.

So could you use it to bring down the emissions by leaning it out in order to pass the mot, before putting it back to factory.

I would guess there is nothing in it but have to just ask. Is there a soft version and hard version of these aftermarket bushes? Is one manufacturers softer than anothers. If someone can answer this hopefully it won't make me sound quite so anal

Sorry, ignore this post. I did a bit more googling and answered my own question. There is no such thing as an MR2 snap off boss. I have to buy a boss that will allow me to fit a universal snap off boss. It must bring the wheel quite close to you, but I've got it now. Thanks
