Re: Aluminium Flywheels

SuperRed, out of interest how much did it cost including postage? What sort of gains will you see from it? I'm interested in getting one as my clutch needs changing soon (although) it needed changing soon four years ago and has been fine since. lol Would obviously make sense to do both at the same t...

Re: Best way to repair Centre Console plastic?

I would imagine some fibre glass sheet and resin should do the job. Or you can normally get a replacement off ebay quite cheap.

Re: 22 years old and going strong

Yeh i did Ollie, took close to 4-5 weeks in total, after the original turn around of 4 days. When i got it back it didn't fit back on. After lots of phone calls and emails ended up sending my old standard exhaust to them so they could line everything up. Would have been a lot sooner had said exhaust...

22 years old and going strong

Had my MOT yesterday.... Passed with 2 advisories. 1) small oil leak which i knew about, still trying to track the location of the leak 2) nearside rear wheel bearing has slight play. Tester said to just put a bit of grease on it and it will be fine. So all together very happy, all the recent work h...

Quick suspension question

Are the shock inserts interchangeable between 1a and 1b? i.e kyb, koni etc? I have a 1b and think they are off a 1a, would they fit?

Re: Handbrake issues

Right just been out to have a look, firstly the handbrake is still fully working, obviously something is not 100% for it to be making this noise so more of a precautionary step to try and locate the issue. Max i did as you suggested, it took a while to get it to make the noise in the first place, bu...

I followed the previous topics on this; Slackened off the cables from the adjutment point Removed cables from caliper Wound piston back in then back out 1...

Re: Exhaust problems!!!! Help please!!

When they received the exhaust back they put it on the jig and it was as they made it, so no damage in transit, although they did suggest that was the issue. When i get through to them, if they have had no luck ill just have a go at bending it myself when i get it back just didn't want to invalidate...

Re: Exhaust problems!!!! Help please!!

Cheers for the photo Unleash comparing the two pictures side by side it would appear that the other hanger may be slightly out, along with the slight angle on the right one, which as Paul said could be bent back, but when you pay a reputable company to carry out work you shouldn't have to then start...

Re: Exhaust problems!!!! Help please!!

Cheers Coanda. Paul, you cant tell from the picture above but they have put the hanger too far towards the rear of the exhaust, if i were to bend the hanger im not sure it would clear the grille. Maybe this picture will help show this; http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa202/mlhs16/SNV34659.jpg Goi...

Bought a Magnex off Ebay...
