Any close up pics of the rear archs? Also whats mileage / service history or receipts for work done? Timing belt / clutch etc..? Cheers Mileage 163k with some in in km, and rebuilt at some point (from memory its got about 60k on the build). Yes, thanks for reminding me, the cambelt is only a few hu...

1994 Rev 3 Turbo T-Bar - Deposit taken

Hello. ---> Click for pics <--- Running driving revision 3 turbo. Sills done in and out last year. There are a couple of scabs appearing on the rear arches but still presentable and could probably go a few more summers before they need doing. If the car doesn't sell this year I might do them myself ...

Actually not him as it happens, but of course he'd heard of him. Truly infamous.

Re: Mr2 spider for sale in Japan

Hello IMOC, good to see you still exist. I had a note through the door and a visit yesterday from a young chap interested in buying my car. It's not been advertised yet. On the phone he said he "runs the owners club" which turned out to be a faceache group and an insta page, and also said ...

Re: New owner rust question

Cheers JD. I have the foam out and have some rust in there. The outer sills are perfect and everywhere else seems aok. I cant post pics as I'm a new user. Did you cut out the outer sill to get to the inner Yeah, it's the only way really. I got some replacement panels off ebay (I forget which seller...

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden

I know, thanks Ryan. I was having a bit of a whinge (not like me at all ). Not having been around much I forget how things changed once a few people had just about had enough with him, although it seemed like the destroying of the site was more a slow decline in favour of the facebooks et al, a...

Re: New owner rust question

Get that foam out. You might find that the inner sill has some rot and needs work. I've just done both sides of mine. The rear arches around the lip, and where they meet the boot might also be a problem area. Take the boot carpet and insulation out to have a look see. Have a good look to see if ther...

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden

Paul, my doors locked with both fob and door switch before going to Peter. After collecting from him, they didn't. At that point after the best part of three years, and excuse after shaggy dog story excuse, I just wanted my car back. It's not a stretch to think that perhaps he "borrowed" i...

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden

I'm fairly certain he wouldn't have had any reason to go into the door. I did take the door card off the other day but didn't peel back any of the plastic as it looked undisturbed. There is a wire spliced into the door loom before the connector in the footwell. I've taken a photo but I can't get my ...

Re: Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden

Thanks Paul, that could be very useful. It looks like the install here is as yours is, but without finding the the paperwork from the original install I'm not sure if it's an ai606 or not. Unfortunately the master door lock switch doesn't work either for me. It seems like it's just not getting power?

Central locking/remote central locking - Rev 3 turbo UPDATE: Diagnosis Gidden

Ever since I got the car back from gidden the doors won't lock or unlock with the fob. It's been anywhere or done much in that time but I remember he said something about probably having left something unplugged and now I have no idea where that might be or why he would have touched it anyway. I've ...

Looks good. I'm not keen on the blue but like you say I can't really judge from pictures. Have you considered doing a full flat bottom (with duct for engine bay)?
