Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
I looked at a couple of MR2s for sale with the Celica wheel fitted and it does look good. Nice work. The wheel fits perfectly with the rest of the interior :D When did those seats go in?! I must have lost track at some point during one of your annual complete re-stylings  Thanks - comments...

Used the same Millers running in oil with mine for 250 miles and then changed to 10/40 Gulf Competition and my engine was perfect.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] A/Rs and HP
There's a guy in the Cossie scene that gets some great numbers from the BW EFR's. He's getting about 520/530 from the 7064 and nearly 400 from 4K rpm, compared to the graph posted earlier in this thread it blows the Garretts away. Yes.....but......different engines tune differently don't they....wh...

Borg Warner EFR 7064 twin scroll, if you want the best response and around 500bhp. They are the best turbos out there at the moment.

Re: forged pistons recommendations
Forgive my limited knowledge but Toyota's CP is only considered "really" safe at standard boost levels i.e. 13 psi/0.9 bar. We get away with it at 1.2bar to a point on the standard turbo and ecu. However putting a bigger turbo (bigger air maker) and keeping the CR around the same, isn't t...

Re: forged pistons recommendations
Hi Rich, Aha, super thanks. just gave them a call, £534 delivered. Will see if I can get lower than that. I asked the CR and why they are 9.0:1 and not stock 8.5:1 ... he just answered that octane of fuel is higher than it was in the 90's and compression is rising in general now #-o not the best an...

Re: forged pistons recommendations
Happy with that - I just can't find 8.5:1 pistons! I read a thread on here awhile ago that explained the way CP measure the CR is different to others. So the ones they list as 9.0 are actually 8.5 with the standard Toyota head gasket, assuming your head hasn't been skimmed. Here's the link; http://...

Jaspa, the guy on DW you're probably thinking about (or should be if you're not) will be michael or rees @ autospecs, they're the japanese agent I, and pretty much everyone else uses (including the "big" importers who try to keep it all secret and use smoke and mirrors tactics to fool peo...

With the Carbotechs do they generate more heat than standard pads? Are they more likely to warp discs?
