Ferderal just got some myself but haven't tried yet only problem is don't do 245 but there tryes r wider than Normal by a lot so 235 more like 245 anyways

Lacquer peel is a very common problem on Toyota's (Mainly imports) they can't all be resprays of around that age anyway think i read some where that because of different climate or something todo with that

The red cars never had a lacquer layer - I believe anyway. REV1's did for sure Pretty sure Super Red 3E5 wasn't used until Rev 4/5 though. The main reason I say this is because a) if you look at paint in Halfords for Super Red 3E5 then it says that no lacquer is required b) loads of reds is on pads...

They did have a lacquer as mine started to come off hence y I'm respraying
