And what do you want to test? The bearing?
If so, you can try to find a rod approximately the size of the bearing opening en put it through. Lock the topmount in a vice and wiggle and twist it to check for free play or strange sounds.

Can you supply some more information on your PWR rad? Where did you buy it? And how should I interpret a so so fitment? Any modifications to the mounting points required?

Is the main wire harness for your temperature sensor properly connected? It might as well be the fan relay.

Ok, wanted to know because i'm interested in the gains of a replacement rad as I want to mount a pre rad for my chargecooler setup and am not keen on giving up to much capacity of my stock rad.
