Re: Glenn's REV3 ST215, Dynoed @315 hp & 390 Nm!
Very nice mate  How have you done your fuel cooler, what kit have you used for it? I'm still working on the perfect way to mount the fuel cooler, but i'm planning on splicing the fuel return pipe and mount the cooler in between. I'm doing this to ensure a constant and low temperature of the p...

This looks awesome. Are there alot of pitfalls in fitting the gen4 3sgte or is the design very close the the gen3? Your workshop looks like a scene out of SAW by the way!! The major pitfalls you will encounter are as follows: -Wiring loom has to be custom made (i use a hybrid gen2-gen4 loom...

Re: FRP & Carbon Boot Lids Group Buy
I'm interested in an FRP piece, but i'm worried that my GT wing wil turn it into a big pile of nothing when i'm on the track. What's your suggestion on this?

Re: How to test top mounts
Pillowball or stock topmounts?
And what do you want to test? The bearing?
If so, you can try to find a rod approximately the size of the bearing opening en put it through. Lock the topmount in a vice and wiggle and twist it to check for free play or strange sounds.

Sorry, I was actually talking about the chargecooler core, not the heat exchanger . I will also put the heat exchanger in front of my radiator.

Re: Boot mount intercooler
It sounds like your thinking along the same lines as me with safer inlet temps being my goal i've hit 50c with my smic. I ended up getting a st205 chargecooler kit. It was the amount of intercooler pipe work that put me off the bmic as im only running a ct20b. I picked up a chargecooler, pump, rad,...

Re: Coolant Cap question
I suffered from slight overheating on the track including my overflow tank squirting coolant onto my electrical components. As a solution, I mounted a higher pressure radiator cap and that solved it. The stock system can handle 1.3 bar with ease, as long as you take care of it and make sure all the ...

Re: Alloy radiators - what's the quality like?
Hi Glenn I bought one of these: http://www.mr2-ben.co.uk/products/view/new-aluminium-light-weight-radiator-mr2-mk2-sw20-1989-1999 A garage fitted it for me, no issues that I'm aware of. I've dibe one track day so far with it and it was fine. From a cooling point of view. Whether I was any quicker b...

Re: Glenn's REV3 ST215, Dynoed @315 hp & 390 Nm!
I'm currently working on the exhaust and intake as these have to be fully custom. I already own a stock gen4 downpipe, which I will use as a template for a flange. I also bought a gen3 downpipe which I will customize with a gen4 flange and a few extra mods. The intake will be a st215 chargecooler, b...

Thanks for the info, i'm seriously considering to purchase an Ebay-one but I hear so many different stories about the quality of these (just like Mishimoto).

Can you supply some more information on your PWR rad? Where did you buy it? And how should I interpret a so so fitment? Any modifications to the mounting points required?

Is the main wire harness for your temperature sensor properly connected? It might as well be the fan relay.

Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Ok, wanted to know because i'm interested in the gains of a replacement rad as I want to mount a pre rad for my chargecooler setup and am not keen on giving up to much capacity of my stock rad.

Glenn's REV3 ST215, Dynoed @315 hp & 390 Nm!
Hi all, my name is Glenn, 24 years old and i'm from the Netherlands. I am starting my masters in Psychology in September, so i'm working really hard (2 part time jobs) to drive and modify my car. In November 2010, I imported a black rev2 from Japan which really got me going on the MR2 virus. The car...
