That kit complete or partial would be very interesting.
I'm now just worried sick whether my car looks as rotten underneath as in the pics above.

Re: Mk1 B ARB
Mounting points up front were intact so it probably is just an alignment issue and will need some re-thinking.

Re: Mk1 B ARB
OK, here's small update: The Whiteline rear ARB is installed and we used the softer setting. My car has adjustable Konis and -30 mm springs and each and every bushing, link, joint etc. has been changed in the suspension. Tyres are Hankook 195/50-15 and alignment follows TRD setup. The car is now twi...

...I don't fancy driving my two in salt and snow... You are missing a lot of fun. :D Thanks for getting me/us the measurements. Need to go to a store now to see them steering wheels. I'll probably be the guy in the shop corner in a raincoat stroking the suede and whispering: "Oh yes, daddy's t...

Re: Mk1b aftermarket steering wheel and boss?
Cheers Stenky. :salut: As the HKB appears to be readily available I think I would like to know what the height of the HKB boss is compared to original? Also, how is the HKB diameter? Is it supposed to be used with the original plastic column ie. does it fit inside it? Much appreciate if you have tim...

Re: Mk1b aftermarket steering wheel and boss?
Er...sorry for these newbie questions but will that HKB boss fit "inside" the original column-plastic-thingy-next-part-down-after-steering-wheel or will that require some other part than the HKB? And if so what brand/model would that be?

Mk1b aftermarket steering wheel and boss?
After doing some searching and reading I just need to get a confirmation f I have understood it correctly: If I buy a steering boss like the HKB below (OT-42?) and choose a non-dished aftermarket steering wheel will this new package put the wheel in same location as the original steering wheel? http...

Braided lines are something I forgot to mention. Even with my old main cylinder the brakes are strong and do not fade.

Re: Thoughts on best disc/pads upgrade
I studied this matter thoroughly last year and finally rebuilt my brakes with refurbished calipers, new discs and EBC green pads front and rear. They have been brilliant on the street - summer and winter - and on track, too.

Re: My AW11 Fritzinger widebody. Some years of work in pictures
My family calls me insane as I´m thinking about to buy a 4th car, but that probably won´t stop me. It a 1975 Celica TA23 GT, or more a big puzzel of one as it´s split to pieces and the shell ist already sandblasted. I have four cars and may be getting a 5th one. Tell your family not to worry....

Re: suspension help!!
Any chance the spring manufacturer made stiff springs and just 'forgot' to cut them? Were the springs supposed to be std or shorter in length?

Right. 5 hours of trial and error, cursing big and stiff fingers, 50 year old eyesight and Mr Nippondenso who designed the gauge we finally got it back together and working. Woot! Thanks to Paul I got an MPH gauge where I was hoping to be able to get some spares - which I did. Side by side: http://i...
