Re: Oukie's SC thread

There's nothing wrong with that exhaust Chris!!

Btw someone on here was interested in it if I remember right, so if you're swapping it out might be able to flog it to them?

Enjoy ;-)

Moving on, for now at least

Mixed emotions now that my few years as a MK1 SC owner are now at an end! Glad to say that Oukie has bought the car so its in good hands and in the ownership of someone even more enthusiatic about the car than me! It's been a total pleasure and I hope that in the not too distant future I'll return t...

Done - means they failed MOT due to leaking oil on a couple of them!

MK1 stock springs, unknown coil overs and other bits...

Since the sale of my MK1 SC I have a few spares around that I'd like to sell on. I have one set of stock MK1b springs £20 plus whatever shipping will be. I also have the MK1b coil overs I just removed for sale. At least two of the KYB inserts are leaking and generally they could do with a tidy up he...

Re: [FINALIZED] MR2 MK1 Supercharger - Japanese Import (1987) *Final Price Reduction*

Another change of plan! Managed to pick up a new BRZ on a super amazing deal and it's due for arrival in the next two weeks, so this is going to be up for sale everywhere next week. Front wings are all ready to go back on this weekend and I'll be applying new decals where needed as well for the stoc...

Re: [FINALIZED] MR2 MK1 Supercharger - Japanese Import (1987) *Final Price Reduction*

Ok so I've decided to get a GT86 (slightly more practical!) but the lead times are showing a delivery July/August so this car wont be available until I have the new set of wheels in the drive. I'll pop some new pictures up shortly showing what the car is like now. Worth mentioning that the exhaust h...

Re: Replacing front wings

Ok got it thanks - went in from underneath. One side done, the other wheel is being a right pain to get off. Garage must have torqued the wheel nuts up to 11!

Replacing front wings

Hi, Just replacing my front wings and taking off the existing ones... wow, how many bolts are on these things?!!? Just wondering do I need to take the headlight units out or should I take the wheel off and the arch trim and go in from underneath to remove the final couple of awkward to reach bolts? ...

MK2 Dundee kingsway

Looked like a green MK2 at the side of the kingsway in Dundee tonight after a small bash. Just caught the MR2owners club decal out of the corner of my eye. Hope the car and driver is ok.

Re: [FINALIZED] MR2 MK1 Supercharger - Japanese Import (1987) *Final Price Reduction*

Thanks.

If I can't get it rehomed with an enthusiast then I'll be popping it on eBay/Auto Trader for around £3295. However I'm hoping you're right and someone that will keep the car in good shape will snap it up before then!

Re: Munters SC Restoration Thread *pic heavy*

Sad to say that the family need for 4 seats means that shortly I'll be looking for a new owner for this SC :-( It's just going through its MOT and then I'll pop the two new front wings on and tidy up a few stone chips and rust spots, before giving it a good polish and putting it up for sale. I know ...

Re: MOT Failure MK2 - parts and advice needed!

Thanks Peter. I managed to get the struts from one of the breakers for £80 all in which I feel is a fair price (assuming they are the right ones and in good condition). Just weighing up either Apex or Fensport springs. It sounds like they will both do the job well so not sure the extra £50 or so for...

MOT Failure MK2 - parts and advice needed!

Hi, Been a while since I posted here! My MR2 SC just failed on a few points. The main one being the strut inserts are leaking. I have coilovers of an unknown origin and had considered going back to stock (with lowered springs) so now seems like a good time! I can source the complete strut, spring, i...

Best place to buy Raybrigs?

I'm going to replace my yellowing and rust encased headlight lenses and it seems Raybrigs offer a good upgrade. Looking around I've found a couple of places to source them from: eBay seller in Malaysia £80 RHDJapan £110 Obviously would be good to go with the cheaper supplier. Anyone have any experie...

Re: Red Mk1 crombie, angus

Would be good to have another one around these parts.

Sheppy you'll see/hear me pass you at 8.45 most mornings in the SC! Usually cut up past McD's when the school run traffic is heavy.

Red Mk1 crombie, angus

Saw my first MK1 for many months today just passing Crombie park in Angus. Looked nice , but with faded paint work. Could have been a MK1a but didn't get a good look as it zoomed past!
