Javelin and MSV are both great, I've also done a few day with 'Apex Track Days' they tend to be a bit cheaper and also a bit more cautious - more red flags / stoppages. Looking at their website there are no future dates tho, maybe not around anymore? As for tracks Blyton Park is superb for beginners...

Yeah it is indeed, HKS Fuel Cut Defender, taps into the signal wire from the turbocharging (boost) sensor to the ecu, modifies the signal to change fuel cut from ~12 psi to ~17psi, in-conjunction with an electronic boost controller currently set to 14 psi.

Yeah, mine turned out to be a wiring issue to do with the Fuel Cut Defender which was inexplicably located behind the driver's seat, moved it next to the ECU and soldered it in properly - problem solved

I gather from reading around that boost is limited in 1st and 2nd gear to ~7 psi and if the ECU is happy it will operate the TVSV in higher gears which will bleed off ~3 psi before the waste gate actuator giving boost of ~ 10 psi.
