Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Engine lid gas/hydraulic ram

I used an alfa 147 (2001-2008) bonnet strut that I had lying around and a couple of 'L' brackets as suggested, perfect fit, fiver on ebay :)

Electronic Boost Controller fitting

Job for the weekend - fitting electronic boost controller :D Majority of the installation looks straight forward enough, couple of clarifications if any of you guys would be so kind; where is the best place to 'T' in the boost sensor? the kit comes with an in-line filter, should this...

Re: Track day crash

Is it a track car/weekend toy or your daily drive? Yeah, shes getting fixed up ofc, not too bad really, bumper light etc, I thought I would...

Well you know what happens when you hit 88mph, luckily the flux capacitor was only set to plus one mo...

Re: Spin at Blyton Park trackday, MR2 Turbo

Ride height if fairly standard, four settings on the suspension, fronts are currently set to'1' which I figure is the firmest, I was thinking of turning it down a bit :D

Re: Track day toolkit

Made good use of my kit, got black flagged second time out! Fortunately just a bit of loose undertray flapping about, trolley jack and a couple of cable ties all sorted.

Only other thing to add is disposable nytrile gloves

I've used about half of the sheet, so yeah was thinking that myself, fixing it in place may be a bit more tricky tho
