Re: [Mk2] [NA] Mk2 as a daily drive?
Buy a refurb dude. Anything is is very temporary. http://brakeparts.co.uk/#page=parts&pageSection=BHF&mancode=TOYO&brand=TOYOTA&model=MR2&modelversion=MR2*SPORTS+(90-00)+SW20+2.0+inc+TURBO So if I send them my old one it'll be £42!? That seems a little too good to be true? EDIT:...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Mk2 as a daily drive?
issues were a stuck caliper. I'm just trying to free up my second one today. Mine's been my only car and daily driver for a 15 mile round trip for 18 months now. One caliper stuck on and was smoking after around 1/2 mile. Got that replaced at a garage not of my choosing (limped to closest garage). ...

Yup, I'm game. Be nice to go to a local meet.
Been debating heading down to an Essex meet but it's the best part of a 200 mile round trip

[Mk2] [Generic] Recommend me a wiper
Standard wiper seems to lift off at 80 odd and not clear the windscreen very well. It's fine at lower speed but starts to "skip" above 80.
Don't want anything too obnoxious/tacky such as a chrome effect plastic wiper spoiler, just a wiper that won't lift at speed

Re: Rusty doors
Touch up pen and lacquer was £5-ish from Mr T. Hope there's a bit more advice to appear on this thread though. I've got a little bit of rust similar to that mentioned. Although I could sand down and touch up the bit I can see, how would I paint the inside of the door where the water seems to flow? L...

Re: My first 2. Rev 5 T bar
You could always drop a turbo lump in there if its a good clean n/a you got Balls, now you've thrown a spanner in the works. Go on then, what bits do I need for a conversion other than the engine? I assume there's a list somewhere? What's the best way to do it? Buying a front end right-off tu...

Is it possible to pay by paypal?
Hmm me too please. Paypal would be handy. What information do you want via PM? Postal address, anything else?
Are postage and price still the same i.e. £1.80 delivered for the small www.imoc.co.uk one?

Re: TIRES
Two things you should never skimp on. Tyres and brakes.
Nankang et al I wouldn't consider buying for car like this.
Something that's just a box for transporting people and stuff then maybe. But a car you want to enjoy driving, get some decent rubber.

[Mk2] [Generic] Range of standard alarm?
What's yours? Mine seems to be anywhere between 4-5 yards to multiple presses "point blank" before the car unlocks. I've replaced the battery but that hasn't made any difference. Is there anything else that may be affecting this? Also is there a good place to "aim"? It can get ra...

Re: My first 2. Rev 5 T bar
As such it's completely standard throughout and the plan is to keep it that way. I remember saying that  #-o  Welcome. From what I understand any mods are much better off being applied to a turbo so the plan is to keep this till the end of my apprenticeship (2 years) then treat mysel...

My first 2. Rev 5 T bar
I'll need to get posting so I can put up some pics. Really pleased with it so far. It's a 2000(V) Black rev5 T bar 55k miles, FTSH, 1 lady owner last 11 years. As such it's completely standard throughout and the plan is to keep it that way. I have a short B road commute to work so it's still only go...
