This particular rust spot is a bit of a pain to fix but it can be done. Removing the dash is a long fiddly job but it is not particularly difficult if you take your time. Good luck. Have you done it? Apprently my 87 Tintop SC came with windy windows, no spoiler, only side splats no skirts, but has electric mirrors...there weren't many boxed ticked on that spec sheet!

Discontinued in Toyota, might have to try a used one from eBay as it's pretty bad.

Can you still buy new drivers door window rubber (Tintop model) or what have you guys done to seal up and stop leaks? Water is getting in there and down into the drivers footwell.

Yeah I never updated. It was the switch that was stuck. Quite a coincidence that it happened just as I changed the cable. All working now, thanks for the reply anyway!

For future reference the part number was BC3143. It's a QH part and it fitted perfectly.

I've just replaced the drivers side handbrake cable and now I have no handbrake light on my dash. Any ideas?
