That could explain why the AC doesn't work, the compressor is still in there.
Can anyone confirm and maybe take a pic of where this goes?

What's this wire for? Engine bay...pics
1987 supercharger... I've discovered this wire is not connected to anything. I just put some tape over the ends. Anyone know what it's for? http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/pp141/Tsporter_photos/295CBED8-D62B-4167-B5E7-95D23EFB1205_zpszqbtswl3.jpg http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/pp141/Tsporter_...

Re: Coolant bled issue
Thanks Paul! I've ordered a new pressure cap which should arrive tomorrow, so that will narrow that down anyway. Is there any way of ruling out the thermostat bleed valve o-rings? Or will I just order and replace them? ....they are cheap... I also have the old white expansion cap which I believe cau...

Coolant bled issue
So I've changed the thermostat and flushed and bled the system. I've got to the point in bleeding(with the rear raised) where the level in the rad cap doesn't drop. So I thought that was it. But I took her for a long drive and left her overnight. Now, she is warming up and idling perfect but the nex...

Ah thanks, the screws aren't in the side even, it's just holding itself on. Any idea what size bolts?

Re: Mounting a bucket seat, how?
Not as easy as the mk2 so. I do need the height as I'm 6'3, so it looks like that rules out standard rails. I'll see what can be made up, but I want to keep it as a bolt-in bolt-out job, I don't want to go welding bars in. I'm not a fan of bucket seats on the road, it's a pain crawling out of the ca...

Mounting a bucket seat, how?
I have a sparco sprint seat that I used for trackdays in my mk2. I was able to just bolt that directly onto the bottom rail of an old mk2 seat and it bolted straight in. Now I would like to use it for trackdays in my mk1 SC. How have the rest of you done it? I'd like to keep cost down and not invest...

Re: Clock and domelight not working
Update:- I've found a fuse for the dome light and clock in the fuse box in the drivers footwell, it's a 7.5A. Replaced this and the clock is back! Need a new dome light though and it's still not working!

Clock and domelight not working
My clock display is blank for the past while. I only have the car 2 months and it was working ok then. I removed and broke the domelight while replacing trim. I also pulled out the stereo to see the model number on it but I didn't disconnect it. The radio turns off very intermittently now too. I rep...

My intermittent setting wasnt working on my wipers and when you turned them off on the normal setting they wouldn't return to the bottom of the windscreen.
