1987 supercharger... I've discovered this wire is not connected to anything. I just put some tape over the ends. Update:- I've found a fuse for the dome light and clock in the fuse box in the drivers footwell, it's a 7.5A. Replaced this and the clock is back! Need a new dome light though and it's still not working!

Quick update:- Today i followed the guide in my first post and I'm pleased to report my wipers are working perfectly now.
