[Mk2] [NA] Changing a sidelight bulb

Sorry for the newby question but I tried a search and couldn't find the answer.

The off side side light bulb in the indicator panel has blown on my UK Mk2 rev4. I have looked but other than popping off the cover, cant see another way of changing it.

Is that the only (and best) way?

Re: Mr2 Specialists in south Wales?

I have just bought a Rev2 turbo car to use as a donor for my UK Rev4. My plan is to do a lot of the work wiith my son under the supervision of a mechanic friend but (and here's the rub) this depends on being given access to a unit FOC by another friend close to the mechanic mate and hoping the mecha...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 3SGE to 3SGTE swap - what is compatable?

Thank you for the reply. Of the ancillaries, (brakes, starter, alternator etc) and assuming they are compatible, is there a preference of which to use i.e. the rev4 UK car or the rev2 tubby? Ancillaries such as the ones you've listed I believe are compatable and the same in both NA and tubby cars. ...

[Mk2] [Generic] 3SGE to 3SGTE swap - what is compatable?

I have a 97 rev4 UK spec and have also just acquired a full car with the GTSE engine etc that has had a NSF quarter shunt. I will be doing (well, I say I but it will be my mechanic actually with me helping) a full conversion over the forthcoming weeks but was wondering what parts (if any) were compa...

Re: Just picked up my new car!

I guarantee that it won't be too long before the modding bug hits! lol. I've started to do a fair bit on mine since buying it. Heres my build thread: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=154906&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 If there are any parts that I've replaced that you a...

Just picked up my new car!

Just got home after a very long day out and I have to say I am delighted with the new purchase. I had bought the car blind and as you well know, there are many people out there who could quite easily make anything sound a lot better than it is but in the case of this seller he was 100% honest. The b...

Re: A blank cheque book and a wish list?

Perhaps I should have been more forthcoming in my first post ;) I am looking at a project (not a personal one although I would be personally involved) that could involve Toyota (amongst others) being a major stakeholder. The idea of transforming a mk2 mr2 is being discussed as an option but obviousl...
