Re: Miss Banzai Tunnel Run - 10th March
I'm sure I only saw 2 2's one black with white wheels, rev 2 and a goodwood green going the other way in a tunnel. I think I was too busy concentrating on driving to notice much, that and my friend was smoking those special cigarettes If it was a green Rev 3 with brone buddy club wheels, that would...

Right, I've tried a coat hanger. I can get it on the lock but can't get enough grip to pull the lock back.

Urgent! Keys locked in car
Just locked my keys in the car. Ignition is on but not enough to work the windows. I've managed to wedge the top of the window open. Now what?
The door lock button (not the one on the door handle, the one next to the window controls) doesn't work so thats that idea out.

Re: Problems with 3rd gear
Wow, cheers for the help Karl, I have also been stressing about expensive gearbox rebuilds and clutch replacements as well. At least this gives me something to go on.

Problems with 3rd gear
I have had a problem in the last couple of weeks getting into 3rd gear. It doesn't happen all the time, there is no crunching or grinding it just doesn't go. A couple of times I have managed to give it a hard shove and it reluctantly 'pops' into gear but afterwards I have noticed a strong burning cl...

[Mk2] [Turbo] O/S front brake calliper seized
As I was driving to work this morning I noticed quite a loud noise from the front (the sort of grinding noise you get from worn brake pads). The brake disc has gone slightly blue and the wheel felt quite hot so I'm pretty sure the calliper has seized. I know the slider bolts on these can be a proble...

Re: When bleeding the coolant system....
Sorry to hijack this but where do people buy their coolant from and is it best to use the Toyota for life stuff.
I believe you can use non Toyota coolant but it has to have some special additive or ingredient?

Re: Correct Battery?...
I believe the correct one is 005 60A/H, Halfords sell them for £85 or £95 depending which one you go for (one has a 3 year warranty the other has a 4 year warranty).
I have read on here that Toyota are the cheapest place (around £50-£60) but have never checked this for myself.
