Think i'll just butt in here
Two things i've been told are 1 that the rev1 rev2 block's are thicker
and two that all the block's including rev3/4 are of a different thickness and the only way to tell is to have them tested ?
Also how much to get a block sleved and were to get it done ?
come on 3sgte it'l look ugly in your nice engine bay
But seriously if it doesnt really affect peformance suppose it makes no difference. Also means less wire cutting.
personaly i couldnt wait to throw mine away.
to be honest the rev2 ap engineering powerfc will need loads of wires changed just to get it to work it is not plug and play as with rev1 i would just get the rev3 one and be done with it in fact that is what i have done , just got to wire it up when i get a minute not true dude, a rev2 ap fc is a ...
Just a quick one,
Can i use st205 injectors in my rev1 Tubby for my rev3 ecu conversion.
Im guessing they are exactly the same as the rev3 mr2 ones is this the case ?
nice one, i dont think you will ever max out 800cc with a ct20b even a hybrid one. but i suppose you could always go to something bigger if you like. but hey its not my car so do as you like. good luck
even with forged pistons if you cant get enough fuel and run lean you WILL melt something. stock pistons should be good for about 350hp i rekon. so i would get some more fuel in there first. just a mater of interest what turbo are you using to need 800cc injectors or is it for future mods.
mine is doing it at the moment only turning right though. it doesnt even need to be at high speed. Problem on mine is one of the rear bushes so im gonna get a full set of poly bushes from twosrus rekon you might need the same thing as me.
is this an easy thing to do ? also what problems will it cause(will it go into safe mode ?) im planning on going to a power fc anyway its just these celica bits have turned up and finding rev3 mr2 parts is a bit hard. many thanks in advance
hi there i know that this subject has had quite a bit of coverage at the moment but i need to know if i can use the parts from an st205 celica to convert my rev1 tubby to a rev3 setup and remove the afm. Cheers
