Re: Differences between blocks

Think i'll just butt in here :)
Two things i've been told are 1 that the rev1 rev2 block's are thicker
and two that all the block's including rev3/4 are of a different thickness and the only way to tell is to have them tested ?
Also how much to get a block sleved and were to get it done ?

Re: rev1 afm on rev3 powerfc

come on 3sgte it'l look ugly in your nice engine bay :)

But seriously if it doesnt really affect peformance suppose it makes no difference. Also means less wire cutting.
personaly i couldnt wait to throw mine away.

Re: What shall i buy??

nice one, i dont think you will ever max out 800cc with a ct20b even a hybrid one. but i suppose you could always go to something bigger if you like. but hey its not my car so do as you like. good luck

Re: What shall i buy??

even with forged pistons if you cant get enough fuel and run lean you WILL melt something. stock pistons should be good for about 350hp i rekon. so i would get some more fuel in there first. just a mater of interest what turbo are you using to need 800cc injectors or is it for future mods.

im almost 100% sure there not the same core as the berk ones have cast ends compared to the badly welded xs power ones.
