[Mk2] [Turbo] Me cars wobbly!!!

Me cars wobbly!!! Me car feels a bit wobbly, especially when I go over bumps and uneven road surfaces and when breaking! The steering wheel use to shake whilst breaking before, I think this could be due to tracking and/or a possible warped break disc? I then had a wee crash and it seems to be worst ...

Dont think theres any dings, probably just the tracking hopefully then? Fingers crossed! This would also explain the wobblying too?

Cheers.

Right, thanks for all the info mate! :) At what stage do I put the engine flush in? Just took me car to the garage for a quote on that bar, said its going to be about £100ish since the other side is also mangled so he will need to bend that all back into shape and also will need to cut the aircon pi...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Is my car still safe to drive?!

Whats involved in flushing it out? Is there an article on here that tells me how to do it it? Due to me losing quite a bit of coolant, I have had to top it up with a lot of water so that should help dilute the sludge? I got a feeling the hoses may already be starting to get blocked, may have what ca...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] brown sludgey coolant could cause possible damage?

Could that have been what caused it to overheat and for engine coolant to get sprayed out of the engine bay? Also my rad has a slight leak so that might not have helped either?

Cheers.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How do you check and change the psi boost level?!

Arrr, right ok thanks for the info mate. That would be why I couldnt find anything! :) I would presume it would still be on its factory default of 10 psi then since its a rev1?

Cheers.

[Mk2] [Turbo] brown sludgey coolant could cause possible damage?

If my coolant is a brown sludge, this is a sign its very old coolant. Will this be doing damage to the engine or anything?! I am planning on flushing this out and putting some fresh stuff in since I bought it like this.

Cheers.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Is my car still safe to drive?!

Oh right, but since the rad has a leak I was hoping it would just congeal there and not clock anything else up? Hmmm, not sure whether to chance it or not. Problem is I dont have the cash at the mo to get a replacement rad so I need to do something short-term... Whats the point of the expansion tank...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Is my car still safe to drive?!

I was just thinking actually, what are the fittings for other than the fog lights?

Im not too bothered about the foglights at the moment so I guess I could just get this new bumper and replace the current one? Where does it bolt in?

Cheers.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Is my car still safe to drive?!

Arrr, funny you should mention that, I was thinking of using radweld to tempoarily fit it! What problems can this cause then? What level should it be in the filter cap? Sorry im sounding like a noob but I havent yet worked out what thats for?! I top up the engine coolant tube with the pipe in it, bu...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Is my car still safe to drive?!

The mud guards seem to have been ripped away too? But shouldnt be too much hassle sorting these? Will a new bumper simply bolt in ok? Where are the bolts to undo my existing one?

Cheers for all the help guys.

Update guys. Some better pics I think plus a bit of damage to the back but not worried about that at the moment. bad news is that I think the rad has a leak down the right hand side, only a little one but it was still wet. Any idea what I could use to tempoarily plug it till I get a new one? Also th...
