Yeah it could be the earth not making good contact, so I know what im looking for, which wires the earth?
My ignitor does look really worn and corroded from a lot of rain and bad weather, etc.
At least the coil is all shiney and new though!

Has anyone got info on how to do the sensor check on the commandor so I can help eliminate things? Mine didnt come with any instructions since was 2nd hand.

Yeah I noticed that, sometimes the temp gauge etc started going down then back up again. Yeah so could be something shorting, any idea how I can narrow it down? I at least know its not the coil since I replaced that about a month ago with a genuine toyota one, before that I replaced it with a blue p...

Hi Guys, After being fine again for about a week (after resetting the ecu). It started cutting out again when putting it into neutral at say the lights or something. So needed to start it again, after a while of this the ecu light flashed and then finally it went into safe mode again so started kang...

Can you adjust the tensioner bolt from the top too? Can you fit a spanner or socket on the end of it too?
Any idea what size the bolts are?
To tighten it I presume you turn clockwise?

Right, I had a quick butchers and manage to locate the long tensioner bolt but couldnt see the pivot bolt your suppose to loosen. I take it you can get to this from the bottom of the car? I was only looking from the top. Its difficult to get under the car due to the bodykit. :( Also is it possible t...
