I love them, definitely the most comfortable coilovers I've experienced, brilliant for fast road use. Will see how they hold up on track and have a play with the settings in the coming months.

Re: Rev 3 Turbo
Ok time for an update! First things first, when I got the car I thought the brakes were TERRIBLE! Not one to do things by halfs, I got onto WMS brakes and ordered up this little bunch. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a17/Big_Joe1/MR2%20Turbo/SDC15257.jpg Consists of Front WMS 4 pot calipers with ne...

Re: Suspension replacement advice...
I've had D2s on a previous car (not MR2) and they were so hard they were completely unsuitable for road use. I'd stick with the BCs!

Re: Suspension replacement advice...
There looks to be a lot of height adjustment, my car is moderately lowered and I could go much lower or higher if i wanted. I haven't adjusted the hardness as of yet as it's perfect how it is for road use, but I'll be having a play with the settings when the trackday season starts in a couple of mon...

I'm running BC coilovers and can't praise them highly enough. Not at all hard or crashy for a coilover and really give some confidence in the twisties.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake bleeding
I never push the pedal completely to the floor when bleeding old cars brakes as it can apparently damage the master cylinder seals. How likely it is..........I don't know, just a rule I've always stuck to .

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake bleeding
For future reference - after changing the bleed nipples I managed to bleed the whole car in less than 10 minutes to a rock hard pedal . Would also reccomend the bleed tube from halfords with the one way valve in it - only £5 and makes brake bleeding a piece of cake.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake bleeding
Im picking new nipples up tommorow from toyota (ooo errr). I thought about PTFE but seeing how brake fluid melted the plastic drip tray I was using, I don't think it would last too long in a braking system! Is the general concensous that master cylinder failure is unlikely? My assistant admitted he ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake bleeding
Ok, it seems I can get some fluid through the drivers side rear but not much at all through the passenger side. The nipple on that side seems very loose in it's thread so I'm wondering if it's passing air through the threads. I've ordered a couple of nipples anyway and will try again tommorow

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake bleeding
No, using one of those hoses that attatch to the nipple with a one way valve in it. Worked perfectly using that method the first time, now I can't get anything other than a few splutters to come through.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake bleeding
Having a bit of a nightmare here. I fitted new callipers and hoses to my car. With the help of a mate, I bled them and got the pedal nice and hard.......great. Afterwards, it turned out there was a leak and a fault with one of the hoses so these were removed and new ones fitted. I now can't get the ...

Can you just clear this up as I'm finding it a little confusing . Is there a known overheating problem or has it been fixed?
