Re: MR2 Rev 3 Turbo GTS
Did the old cling film and selotape repair yesterday, so T-bar should hopefully be leak free now .

MR2 Rev 3 Turbo GTS
Im selling my MR2 as I need something a bit more economical, preferably a Honda. The car is a 1994 MR2 Rev 3 Turbo, Japanese import of course. Ive used the car everyday for the last 6 months and its been fantastic, never letting me down. Spec 90k miles 6months Tax and Test Mongoose Exhaust system ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wet weather missfire
Just to update this for future reference - bought a new ignition coil from camskill (around £40). Not had any sign of a missfire in the week of solid rain we've had so looks like job done. For fitting advice, the coil is a bit of a pain to get to - I found the best way was to unbolt the canister tha...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] eBay short shifts
First thing I did when I got my MR2 was remove the short shifter that was fitted. Gear change was horrible, no feel and difficult at times. Standard is 100x better

[Mk2] [Turbo] Wet weather missfire
Hi all, I have a problem with my rev 3 turbo. After prolonged or heavy rain, it's developing a missfire under boost. I'm assuming there must be water ingress to some ignition components, has anyone come across this before or could suggest likely causes? It's had a new dizzy cap and plugs within the ...

Re: Pondering a "launch group buy" on a 4 pot brake kit for Mk2 15" OEM wheels...
Just to give my experiences, I run the 298 4 pot set up with yellow stuff pads and the difference between this and stock brakes is night and day. I can lock the brakes at practically any speed, it gives serious braking force and great pedal feel (i run braided hoses allround too). The steering also ...

Greddy SMIC for track
Ok, I have a Greddy intercooler with shroud and spal fan waiting to fit. My question is, is this sufficient for cooling with prolonged use on track days? Car is a rev 3 turbo with the only other engine modifications a HKS induction kit and mongoose exhaust (will be adding a decat downpipe too). Thanks

I use BC coilovers on my daily driver and they are great on the road. Will see how they hold up on track next month.

Re: Building a fast road mr2
Don't forget the chassis, all the power in the world is no good if you can't use it. I've got BC coilovers and a WMS 4 pot brake kit on my rev 3 turbo. The brakes were terrible before and I just couldn't drive fast on a B road for fear it wouldn't stop, with the 4pot kit I'm flying. I'm going to fit...

Re: Who is tall and drives a MK2??
Does a tintop have more or less headroom than a Tbar (with the covers out)?
