get injectors cleaned and then put highest flowing 1 on cy3, and then cy4, 1 or 2 after that.
mappers usually put more fuel in those cylinders, so if staying stock, thats what ive done.

Re: S148 from Turbo Technics
Don't waste money on a catch can, stock one is decent. I suggest fitting a breather to the oem one, or just routing it to the floor (what I do), and blocking up intake hole. That way you can rule out crankcase gases at least and costs you very little to nothing as opposed to fitting a restrictive cr...

Re: Rev4 Turbo *mini photoshoot*
well decision has been made to return the mr2 to a little closer to stock, sell off a few bits and get it daily ready for when its needed.... im planning to still use it, take to shows and insure it, as my new car went on a classic insurance which meant i didnt have to give up any NCB.

Did your mechanic check for a spark at the plugs? Or coil?
A bad coil or poor ground at the igniter can cause a bad spark issue.

Re: S148 from Turbo Technics
yep, same happened to an old ct20b of mine.
smoke, and blue smoke at that at idle.
bad turbo seals.
you very rarely hear of valve stem seals going on these, infact i cant remember the last time i read about it.

well i dont "have to", but im looking to explore something else of a similar nature, its one of those i have to try before kids come along situation, and as car is tip top in my eyes, now seemed the sensible time to move on. if it doesnt sell for what i want, i will likely strip a few easy...

Yeh is a tricky one, I feel I've exhausted what I can do without going to the crazy step and creating a monster. It's ready for someone to just enjoy or do minor tweaks to their own preferences. I wanted to make sure everything was strong and tip top before actually sticking it up, I've done a good ...

hey all, so, there is a likely possibility the car will be for sale shortly. aside from returning a few interior bits to near stock, car will remain as is. i wont be disappearing from the forums, i just couldnt, as there is also the possibility of just returning the car to closer to standard and usi...

Re: S148 from Turbo Technics
it is a good idea to keep an eye on AFRs with a gauge. gen3 ecu runs very lean in the midrange on high boost, and i would guess this is why many cars end up cracking piston rings. i ran water/meth for a long time, now dont, but i also upped fuel pressure to help this mid range area. i now also run a...

If you cant see or hear cc water flowing, then you have some air in the system somewhere downstream.
I had a similar situation, no leaks, all hooked up fine, turns out just needed to bleed the pre rad a little more.
