Tyre sizes??
How important is it to have the right size tyres on a Mk2 MR2?? I know that its probably a good idea to stick with manu specs etc with it being an R/R layout. But will it make a massive difference if they are not upto manu spec?? At the moment im running 7j fronts with 195 50 16's and 8j rears with ...

[Mk2] [Generic] Fitting Remote Central Locking from Rev 3 to Rev 2....
Seeing as im going to be using the locks and possibly the ignition barrel from said Rev 3 on my Rev 2, i thought if its not too much of a ball ache, may as well have a bash at fitting the R/C/L at the same time.
Any 1 done this before and what would be needed and involved in getting it working??

Re: Garage bill
The bolts are never that tight tbh, yes they are tight for a normal socket set, but with a breaker bar the seal snaps pretty easy. I removed 2 rear calipers in 5 mins the other day. A garage should have been able to to the whole lot in about 30-45mins max. The bolts aren't that big, so no way would ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Reverse light switch
On the gearbox??
Look down from the passenger side, on top of the gearbox you should see a white plug on the sensor. Its kinda hidden by a rubber pipe.

Re: What standard spoiler do you prefer??
People keep banging on about rev 1/2 spoilers & lights being dated, but the MK2 MR2 is hardly a spring chicken! I can see where you are coming from, but imo, with the likes of the Rev 3/4 or Rev 5 spoiler and rear lights, the car looks alot more modern. @ 18yrs old, they don't look like a car f...

That is nice, colour and wheel combo really set it off.
Might want to change the tax and mot though, as according to your ad, it ran out a while ago.

NGKR BKR6EP.
Those are what i removed from my Rev 3 import.
Google says they are for a Rev 3 MR2 anyway so take from that what you can.

Difference between Rev 1/2 and Rev 3 engines.....
As above, im curious as to whats different between the 2 engines to give the Rev 3 motor an extra 12bhp.
Is it bolt on bits that i could remove from my Rev 3 and fit to me Rev 2 or is it a bit more technical than that??

[Mk2] [NA] Removing Rev 3 inlet manifold....
Started to strip down my spare engine for parts before the car goes to be scrapped but i can't seem to get the inlet manifold off. Ive removed some bolts from around the manifold and the 3 allen key headed studs from inside the inlet itself, but can't see what else needs to be removed. It feels loos...

Re: What standard spoiler do you prefer??
Quite alot of mixed opinions on this then. Keep them coming with pics. I must say, i prefer the way my car looks now with the Rev 3 spoiler fitted. Don't get me wrong, the Rev 1/2 spoiler looks good, but i think the car over-all with different wheels etc is what makes it. I just don't think my car s...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rev 3 engine clips question.
Hmm kinda glad this has popped up. I have a UK Rev 2 as my daily and an import G-limited that im breaking. Has a full running engine. Would it be worth the hassle of swapping the engines just for an extra 12bhp?? Would it be worth swapping the ECU's over?? Or did they run the same map?? Or would it ...
