CC Pump location
Well if you have a rev1/2 go for the carbon canister and bin it, the pump fits great in the spot and is a sinch to bleed the system as it fills as the cc core fills.

Re: [All] [Generic] Any welders out there?
Having welded stainless exhausts for a while (as a job) tig is nice and looks best, mig is faster and what most mass producers use. Some tips from a hobbiest point of view. If you plan to use a hobby set, sort of thing you find in machine mart, you need to buy quite a gutsy unit if welding stainless...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Totally fed up of my mr2 lsd problem????
Did it do it before the engine out?
If not i guess there is a good chance its got the wrong oil in as viscus based lsds need the correct oil, sometimes you can try adding friction modifiers to loosen it up a bit.
just a thought as the box has to be emptied when taken off the engine.

TO 3sgte
So 3sgte your saying that if I just line everything up as close as possible and lock it off then the tensioner will be fine, that's good news. As for the interference fit of the engine I am surprised as the 1.6m MHG I thought would off-set the small extra lift the cam gives (knew I should have gone ...

Help
In order to figure out which shims I need I guess I am going to have to fit my 2.00mm shim in each valve and use the feeler gauge. Unless anyone knows of an easier way.... Jay so I should be able to get away with some 2.55 and 2.5 shims. As the shims etc wear does the gap get bigger or smaller? I as...

Ok guys n gals I have a tricky problem that I am not sure how to resolve. I have converted a REV1 head to use undershim buckets etc, that was the easy bit now I am trying to set the gap I do not have any shims that are small enough so that the cam is clear of the bucket. I have rubbed down a shim ti...

I Have done this
Hey bud, I have done this and have set the opening point all over the place and settled on 3100rpm which seems to suit my setup better. As for difference, well it generally just makes boost a bit sooner say about 200 - 300 rpm sooner but it's harldy noticable in any other way. I think I would sugges...
