Re: Duxford car show photos (Very photo heavy!)
Thanks, I thought I had but once I took the sensor off, I found it was a water temp sensor, so it wasn't that one :( I tried removing the sensor below that one, however I couldn't get it out. Need a very deep splined set of wratchet drivers, and the set I bought were not deep enough :( However, had ...

Does the hash sign beside my name in the list mean anything? Am I the designated hash bringer or something?

[Mk2] [NA] Gauge questions?
Hi, I am looking to fit a set of oil gauges (temp and pressure) to my Rev1 NA 3SGE. I have ordered the TOPOT adaptor from Gauge place, as well as the A-pillar guage pod, and have a couple of questions. Where on the 3sGE is the oil switch point (preferably with photos as I don't know all that much ab...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How Hard IS It To Change A Rear Bumper?
It's not so much bolts, as those popper things all along the top and bottom of the bumper. Once you have those out, it is a lot easier if you can drop your exhaust, as there are four bolts (two each side) that are right sods to get to and will be rusty too. If you can't get those out (as I couldn't)...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] I changed my steering column today
I would really like to do this to mine, I find that the steering wheel is just too far away for me to drive for long periods comfortably.
How much did you get your replacement column for, and where from if you don't mind me asking?

Surely all you gotta do is take the crappy bits of carbon off and re-mount the centre section? Hardly murdered

Re: [Mk2] [NA] High mileage car- what to look out for
Check the bottom of the bodywork just in front of the rear wheels, prone to rusting and if it is bad, will need new sills. Not cheap!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] dials
I am working on a custom set using the image Paul sent me, however, I am concerned that the segments won't be very well lit at night. I am thinking of cutting the major ones out, after all in the daytime they will still look black, but at night they will let the light show through from behind. Any t...

Silver and black 2 in Cambridge
Spotted a very pretty silver and black (anniversary style) 2 with a rev 5 spoiler and skirts this morning in Cambridge. Looked great!
