Re: tinted windows

think about it for a moment, if you state that it's just the same as wearing sunglasses, well your probably right, but how well could you see driving at night wearing sunglasses?

I replaced my whole cable with a good condition second hand one, went in in about an hour (probably would have been less time, but I am cak-handed) :D

Re: Cleaning rear lights

Has anyone tried using these polishes with a polishing wheel (the type designed to fit in an electric drill)? If so, does it work and what were your results like?

Yaaaay, car fixed :)

I have just finaly had the cylinder head to exhaust manifold gasket replaced (after several failed attempts) and the difference is fantastic! Feels like a different car to drive. I had several goes myself, before handing it over to a tame garage, and it took them a few goes before success! The stick...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Painted my sills

I found a couple, but they just match to the original spec of the paint, not to the car :(

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Painted my sills

I asked at my local Halfords, and they don't do paint matching there (despite it saying they did on the way into the shop). :(
Does anyone know anywhere that does this (including matching the paint to the actual colour of the car) in the Cambs-North Essex area?

To and from JAE

As I was picking a friend up to go along to JAE with me, I had to drive some roads that I have never been on before including the B1066 Burry St Edmonds Rd. This is a tight and twisty little road with not very good sight lines, however, I managed to have a great deal of fun with the bits I could see...

[Mk2] [Generic] Help wanted - Polishing

Hi, I would love to get my 2 polished to get rid of all the swirl marks, however, I really can't justify the cost of a Porter Cable or Meguiars polisher. Does anyone have a random orbit polisher I could make use of either in the Cambridgeshire/North Essex or North East England area, as I will be up ...

Argh, how come I can never find a kit like that for the rev1 NA!
It will, be time to replace my electrics soon, but I can only find the individual parts or V-expensive Toyota parts :(

I gotta say those are the sweetest sideskirts for an MR2 I have seen. Tired of all those skirts that look like the were molded from an square bar! :)

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] central locking

Most problems with central locking are to do with the wiring loom where it passes from the door to the body of the car. I replaced both mine and it fixed a lot of the problems I was having, however, my car still doesn't centrally lock from the key, just from the interior button. I think it is due to...
