Re: [Mk2] [NA] Drive shaft removal
I just had my box fitted with a new LSD diff (at a garage), I have put the box back in myself and all was ok for 3 days, I turned a sharpish corner (15-20mph) up a hill and lost all drive. I looked under the car and found the n/s shaft had come out of the box and was p1$$ing gearbox oil out. I have ...

Hi quickly does anyone know a: what torque do the standard turbo flywheel bolts need to be? b: What torque the ARP flywheel bolts need to be? Reason I'm asking is my clutch 'specialist!' has told me there is 1mm gap between the Fidanza & ARP bolts so it wobbles? I assume he has used the standard...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Effects of a lighter flywheel?
Yep Just spoke to Rogue who said the 450lbs is the best for my spec.
Also gonna order the Cromo from GTS Chris later on.
Is your flywheel made by Cusco, cus I saw on RHD Japan a Cusco super light cromologyfly wheel? so just wondering if its the same?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Effects of a lighter flywheel?
A quick point will either flywheel fit any clutch e.g. an RPS, Spec etc. or is there certain combos not suited?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Effects of a lighter flywheel?
Ps checking into this and from my research (lol if you call it that!!) the flywheel weights are as follows:
Standard Flywheel = 11kg
Fidanza 55% less than OEM so = 4.95kgs
Chromology 5.5kg less than OEM so = 5.5kgs

I opened the door to listen for ay noises; when the clutch is depessed after 0.5 seconds or so it starts to make a faint rattling noise! I am as...

Im just a bit pi$$ed off as there was NO warning whatsoever! the clutch has only done 8K since replacing (guarantee 20K!) hasn't slipped or had ANY problems at all.
Oh well I'll try replacing the fluid etc. at the weekend, No Santa Pod for me bu88er!
