Re: [Mk2] [Generic] FINALLY....my candy orange/smoothed sides/filled bumper etc!

haha cheers guys :D

Yep about 160 for materials. We used a candy concentrate mixed with a clearcoat to get the candy and the coarsest silver we could find for underneith. Gonna chuck another layer or 2 of laquer ontop to get it looking even deeper though.

Arggg, sorry guys! should have checked earlier! We actually found an autoglym user on mr2oc, so we've got the 4 cars we need!

Thanks for helping, and watch this space for more features in the near future.

[All] [Generic] MR2ONLY -- STEP UP AND HELP OUT! CLEANING/POLISHING/WAXING FEATURE

Okay folks here's the deal. I'm looking to do a cleaning care feature for the next issue in time for the show season, so I'm currently looking for people using a strict cleaning reigime -- any combination of cleaning and waxing products! So please, either drop me an email ( markthorpe@mr2only.com), ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] HELP! HEADLIGHT CONVERSION PROBLEMS...

Nah mate, your mot station is just rubbish ;) Its illegal to chop it up, as even when u remake it, it's not moulded in the way that toyota had tested it -- thus, it wont have the same protection. Trust me, I looked into it :(

Sucks to be me :(

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] dismantling heater controls.. how does this part come off??

Careful though...there's been LOTS of people that have dismantled them then suddenly their heating doesnt work. Electrical, not due to the sliders inside etc....very strange indeed!

[Mk2] [NA] Smoothed sides and filled bumper etc...

Here's some progress pics! Bumper is fixed and smoothed, and we've filled the indicator holes so give a nice rounded look to the border bumper.
