Re: Car feels skittish at high speeds
It could be something as simple as that? Tyre pressures are fine, I did them the other day, 34 rear 30 front. How do I check for worn bearings?

Fitting 52mm gauge in DIN slot
Has anyone done this? Any chance of some pics? I have a single DIN head unit, and there doesn't seem to be enough space to get a 52mm gauge in, despite loads of places selling single DIN gauge holders for 52mm gauges?

Car feels skittish at high speeds
Anyone know what can be the prob? At like 55+ the car feels unsafe, like it's too easy to steer at high speeds, I have to grip the steering wheel to keep it in a straight line .... it's an import rev 3.

Re: Rev 3 standard boost
Sounds like it, it has an MBC on it. When I discovered the MBC I turned it right down as there was no gauge on to tell me what it was running, is it ok to re-enable the VSV and run an MBC?

Re: NVI Cars?
I once rang enquiring about a car advertised on NVI's site. When I asked how long the the car had been up for sale he replied "What do you want to know that for?", I said "Well because if it's been up for sale for a while then it might not be in good condition", he then said &quo...

Re: [Mk2 Turbo] Turbo turned down!
That's interesting. So if there is a boost controller fitted and turned right down the boost is below standard? I know I need to get a boost gauge fitted but until I do is that right?
