does the rad being there affect the main rads performance at all?
no different to having and aircon rad there, about the same size anyway.
Mine has run like this for a year or so and its perfect.

If you want a proper remap, get a Link or Power FC and get it custom mapped.
save your money, superchips are a waste of time for the gains you get.

Re: Fuel cap stuck
Time for a new fuel cap then. Or like i did take the cap off and leave it over night in a pot of thinners. Basically in the cap there is a small rubber valve that allows air into the tank as the fuel level drops to avoid a vacuum being created. when the caps get as old as the ones on our cars it ten...

Re: spraying stainless steel/aluminium
For stainless i always used to sand the area back then give it a good few coats of High temp paint.
Be worth checking with the High temp paints as some of them do not work with a primer as i found out

Top mounts, same for all revisons?
Hi can anyone tell me if the sw20 top mounts are the same for all revisions? TRD are now discontinued and i dont really want to pay nearly £400 for Toyota ones. KYB do top mounts for a very reasonable price but the don't seem to be for pre 94 cars   i already have Ohlins dampers and have r...

Re: MPG on Mk 2 turbo - is it really this bad!?
down to how you drive mostly.
although there are other reasons (old lambda sensor etc)
i usually get around 310 to a full tank when just cruising.
a mix of town and motorway blasting usually still returns over 250
