Re: Valuation ...

With respect, it's very rare you get the same revision, same colour and same spec mr2.

I said they were similar asthe colours the same, wheels were alike and there are pros and cons for both. In my opinion they would be worth a similar value.

Re: [FINALIZED] T-bar Goodwood Green UK Rev4 N/A black leather *** price drop ****

Why you selling pal?

Also what repairs did she have done, is there no other rust apart from the arch, can you take a photo of the boot gap, what are the tyres like and does the roof leak?

Also Would it pass the mot?

just checked rogues website mate, £299.99 and if you want redline MT90 gearbox oil its an extra £35.

its a pity rogues not closer to me, my cars up for sale and last sat the clutch went on me. im glad its gone before i sell it though otherwise it would have looked like that was the reason to sell.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] mk3 seats

im just in the process of putting a set in mine mate. had a quick look at them today and took my passenger seat out. the two front bolts need 35mm angle iron cut and then bolted/welded to the mk3 runners. the back right hand side bracket sits perfect on the original seat belt bolt that sticks out fr...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Speedo LEDs fitted - pics - update, night pic added.

apologies for the poor pics but for some reason my camera doesnt like taking pics when its dark and lights are on. They look a green colour but they are bright blue. ran out of blue bulbs so put a red one in there for the short term. Also cut a hole across the top of the storage box under the radio ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Speedo LEDs fitted - pics - update, night pic added.

there the same ones i got, took a while to arrive though.

for the heater bulbs i used 2 led strips but you have to cut away at some of the plastic behind the heater. Will post some pics later of the finished result

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Speedo LEDs fitted - pics - update, night pic added.

you can get an even glow if you use the 5 way smd leds, but there not the brightest.

Think there was a post on these not so long ago.

I originally had mine red and the needles glowed quite well but have now changed to blue but the needles dont glow very well

they are about a fiver for 2 off ebay

Re: [Mk2] [NA] fitting a new exhaust

had a look at the car today and failed to fit the exhaust.

to be honest not happy with the room ive got to use the grinder. spoke to the garage who have done my mot for the past 3 years and pursuaded them to fit it.

its booked in on 8 november, they charge £25 an hour.

will post pics when fitted

Re: [Mk2] [NA] fitting a new exhaust

them pics are spot on, to get the exhaust off looks quite easy now.

I shouldnt have any trouble grinding the nuts off the flanges when the exhaust is off the car and will have new nuts, bolts and gaskets to go back on.

fingers crossed will have the exhaust on tomorrow.

once again thanks everyone

Re: [Mk2] [NA] fitting a new exhaust

sounds like hassle, tried a phoning a couple of garages this morning and they wouldnt touch it. I may try and take the cat off as well and then refit the cat first and then the exhaust. the nuts on the other side of the cat didnt seem as bad as the nuts on the side of the exhaust if you know what i ...
